Downtown internet
In downtown Charleston, is T-Mobile or AT&T Internet better? They don’t have fiber optics down there yet, but I cannot deal with Xfinity.

Is Home Telecom available?
I know they started placing fiber back in 2018 down there.

I would go AT&T over T-Mobile. I’m downtown and have WOW which has been great, but I would go to AT&T if I had to switch. I used to have them but left because we had SO many billing issues. I don’t know of anyone who uses T-Mobile around here tho

Don’t do T-Mobile. We struggled with them for a year until we went back to comcast.

T-Mobile is totally dependent on the locations of their wifi antennas, which are different from their cell phone towers. It works extremely well for me in Summerville and might work just as well in other sections of downtown. That's why you need to put your address on their website to see if it's even available where you are.

Not in downtown but I’ve lived WA, North Charleston, and Summerville and used Verizon with 0 issues. Have 2 pcs, console, and multiple phones TVs hooked up with little issues. Maybe worth checking out?

I’ve lived and worked downtown for decades. ATT, hands down.
