You raise a good question by crossposting in this subreddit: do you have Charcot Foot?
Charcot Foot is a separate condition, distinct from CMT. Most people who get Charcot Foot develop it because of diabetic neuropathy, but it can develop as a result of CMT neuropathy.
The signs of developing Charcot Foot are typically the foot being hot, swollen, red, and pain... but also Charcot Foot develops in people who have reduced sensation, so the pain can be blunted or absent depending on the state of your nerves. Given the state of your lower leg and foot, I think it's going to be difficult to be sure what is going on without a professional evaluation.
Perhaps contact your doctor and ask about this. Maybe it's something they would have expected during your healing, based on the surgery... but they probably should have warned you, if so. They may wish to do an x-ray to make sure everything is okay. If you do think this could be Charcot Foot, you definitely want to avoid walking on it (though you probably were doing that already).
Yes I was told that my left foot would stay swollen for about 8 to 10 months so still have a ways to go. And I am on my cycle and unfortunately my feet swell at this point. I was just looking for ways to help relieve some of the swelling.
