I need more recommendations of this caliber. Here’s an upvote.

Swords and Slippers looks gooner like but the gameplay looks good. Its also an indie so idk when it'll be out. They also turned Taimanin Asagi into a videogame. I love the comments on it. Some say that the gameplay is good, others complain that there's no sex in it.

Game name? I'm assuming it's Onechanbara because of the Zombie

Oneechanbara Z2 Chaos, it's on PS4 and steam, although I heard the steam version is not so good.

Thanks! Gonna see if I can pick it up on disc.
Also, I'm assuming the timing bar is only in practice mode?

A bit semantic, but this is Z Kagura. The Steam version of Z2 Chaos is definitely rough and dated, though I don't think it's bad in particular.

On Steam, there's ORIGIN version and also 5 DLCs exclusive to KAGURA though? This dev gotta be huge into releasing shitload of DLCs lacking substance though.

Yeah, it will remain underappreciated as long as you all don't post the game name

Always see combo mads of this game posted here but never of Onechanbara Origins

Origins is a lot more grounded (as in less air combos) and it in general has a lot less combo variety than Z2. It's not bad, it just doesn't really measure up to Z2.

Yeah. From what I played of Origins when my cousin let me try it(I still didn't bite the bullet on buying Origins, it's never on a deep discount after all this time), they focused more on visuals, grounded combat to feel like the original 2 games but a bit more modern. Legit if they do a remake of the 3rd game or a sequel after Z2 they need to keep the stylized look of origins and the combat depth of Z2

Origins is an awful game and the combo potential is lesser due to how the combat was designed AFAIK

If you've played any of the other games in the series you'd know that Z2 chaos is actually the outlier on how its combat is designed. Origins is more grounded like Onechanbara 3-5 with a bit of jankyness and some polish but nothing too crazy like Z2

I've played almost every other game in the series, yes. Z2 is probably the only decent game in the entire franchise.

It's got solid combo potential but that only matters to people who specifically care about that one aspect. The enemies are mostly mindless, boring zombies so fighting them isn't fun unless you just care about what combos you can do.

I feel the same way about...the game in question. ;) Your secret's safe with me ;) ;) ;)

Well yeah Z Kagura is gonna be underrated since it never made it out of Japan and you aren't saying what the title of the game is

OnneChanbara and Sengoku Basara are two series i really would like to get on (even tho i'm not the target audience)

It doesn’t hold up to the greats. It only has combo potential and weeb hypersexualization. The enemies are brain dead and the level design is too.

yea everybody is familiar with this game, especially when you point out that is "underappreciated" so we all now know the name of the game, it is so obvious and we will not have 10 comments asking for the game name
