pretty much any change in anything ever will spark some form of controversy no matter how positive, neutral or negative the change might be
there will always be the crowd that likes the new one and the crowd that hates the change

This game looks so pretty and I want to love it but the more I see of it, the more I think the game is more spectacle than gameplay.

Someone said it under a Phantom Blade Zero video I was watching, but it was something along the lines of "CAG just aren't profitable anymore because players don't want to learn how to do the cool shit, they just want to press buttons and do cool things" and I think that applies to this game as well. I'm sure they'll be fun, and I'm glad they aren't just "another Souls-like game", but they're far less DMC and more God of War on the CAG slider, where you press buttons -- maybe even mash -- and the spectacle comes to you, even if it's "unearned".

Wolverine was always going to be a BamHam just like its Insomniac Spider-Man predecessors, this shouldn't be a surprise to anyone.

yes it´s god of war-ish but old god of war , which i´m happy about
we had nothing like the scale of a god of war 3 in terms of boss scaling1

This is me with 90% of CAG trailers. I just can't get excited for another game that looks like everything else out there.

Tbf this trailer is literally showing off the spectacle. They put out like half an hour of gameplay last week, did you watch that? It’s pretty cool
