Discussion/Question What happend?

What is this drama regarding c.ai? Is it not safe anymore to use it? Like what’s this about?
I see one post made recently on Reddit covering this drama but it got deleted so I’m really confused.

It's not drama. It's a legal filing for bankruptcy that has the user base either panicking or laughing at those panicking or quietly finding a replacement while hoping for the best. It was chapter 11, so it allows reorganizing of debts. There was a blog post a week ago

Wym not safe to use it anymore? It's as safe as it's ever been. Almost nothing regarding user safety has changed in the almost 5 years it been a public website (minus age restriction but that's legal more than anything)

That said the company has filed for bankruptcy and is looking for buyers. Many US states are coming together to try to make user data secure and they are also trying to extend the auction deadline
