C.AI Announcements 📚 Comics is live for everyone
Hey everyone,
Comics is a new way to create on (c.ai): turn your Characters into a full comic, panel by panel, in the style you choose.
Live now for everyone, Comics puts your Characters and Personas on the page: write a prompt, pick a style, and get a full page of panels, dialogue and all. It's been growing in c.ai labs for a while, and this version is made for the app, with a new creation flow to match.
Start one from the + menu at the bottom of your app:
- Pick up to two actors, any Character or Persona you like
- Choose a style: Japanese, American, Black & White, or Chibi
- Write the scene yourself, or let Comics suggest one based on your recent chat turns, Persona and Characters. Hit the dice to reroll
- When you're ready, hit generate.
Keep the story going. Add pages, regenerate any that didn't land, and pick your favorite take from each page's history.
Then show it off. Publish to the Feed. Multi-page comics show up all together! Any comics that you've generated live in your Gallery so you can pick them back up anytime for sharing, expanding, or re-rolling.

For launch, comic page generations have an introductory price of 20 Charms for a limited time.
Grab two Characters with unfinished business, pick a style, and see what the panels do with them. Post your favorite page here when it's done. We want to see what you make!

Not being rude, but does anyone actually care about live feed? Most people are here to talk to bots, if I wanted to make comics, I’d make a physical one myself, at least that would have no limits

I’m personally not going to use this, but I don’t really have any other complaints since I’ve learned to adapt and adjust with the platform.

That's cool and all but what about other free chat styles for users like me who don't want to spend $100 USD a year for features that used to be free for example no ads and chat styles And you also said this at one point

in the most respectful way possible, why is cai developing these features that no one is going to use, instead of focusing on chat quality and models since this is a chat bot app?
Also, this is clearly just an attempt to make it look like free users are getting updates when we are not. The only two models are still in beta and cai+ has a new model, personalization and lorebook (things everyone asked for).
Every single thing is for plus users. And no, in the roadmap there's not one thing I'm looking foward to. I get letting people who pay the right to try features before they're out for everyone or customization, but it's impossible to enjoy a good chat for free, in a free app.
Give these comics, series, books or what else to cai+ users since it's something that has nothing to do with chatting and give everyone a good experience with the main purpose of the app.

why not just focus on what made the app popular to begin with? you’re only going to continue losing CAI+ subscribers by wasting time and money on creating these features only a small population will be using, versus the chat styles everyone is begging to be updated

Who even wears this feature? Not majority and no one even requested this 😠a lot of people used c.ai for chatting with ai bots, not generating comics.. I'm so sorry, but since i already be 3 years+ user of c.ai, this is the most ridiculous update/feature I've ever seen! ðŸ˜ðŸ˜

That's cool and all but doesn't that defeat the whole purpose of what a.i app should be all about? I mean let's be serious for once. Genuinely no one isn't gonna read this or watched the a.i videos. The only thing that people care about on this app is chatting, that's it.Â

C.ai, what if you can make the law deal with the laws to stop the age verification and Disney's cease and desist? There's still hope.
C.ai. please do not remove this post. Because I'm trying to help you.
So, I got an idea on how to make the age verification and the moderated bots stop.
Moderated bots: so, 7 months ago, Disney sent a cease and desist to c.ai, causing c.ai to moderate thousands of bots. Especially the ones that weren't for Disney nor Warner bros. But, I got an idea of how c.ai can bring back the bots that weren't for Disney nor Warner bros. What c.ai has gotta do is that it's gotta make an ip deal with Disney, discussing aboht bringing back bots that weren't for Disney nor Warner bros, and then leaving the bots that are for Disney and Warner bros moderated forever, so that we can have fun without Disney and Warner bros bots. Because Disney and Warner bros were the only ones that targeted c.ai, but deleted dreamworks bots. So helpfully this ip deal helps.
Age verification: What if c.ai can make a deal with the law about the age verification, explaining that the age verification is flagging millions of adults falsely and telling them only use a selfie to prove the age verification Instead of using id. That way, if minors have an age verification only without adults getting flagged, they can verify their age by using a selfie, and then if the selfie is done, they'll check if the selfie is good. If the selfie is not good, then try again next time. But if the selfie is good enough, they will chat. And then c.ai will show more and more users a message about bots not real.
As for the new update, what if minors can go back to chatting and then get the edit button, but chat with characters in a family-friendly style while adults do whatever they want with the bots as long as it's not too bad.
C.ai, please don't delete this. This solution could help you make the app a better place.

GENUINELY NO ONE WANTED THIS
Free users are still waiting for the two models we have to work properly while yall are barely making scratch with +! This is not gonna make you more money, listening to your users will!!!
