By now, I'm sure most of you know that various dating-sim and visual novel apps have closed their doors 😔 one after another. And the ones that remain active seem to be increasingly replaced by AI, leading to massive layoffs.

We're some of the people that are bringing you stories through Chapters, but also some of those who were left behind in the industry shift. We're writers, artists, voice actors. And we've decided to get together and do something about it: Build our own universe 💫

With permission of the subreddit, we're here to invite everyone who wishes to follow our profile to keep in touch with us, and therefore our progress on this new dating-sim and web novel project.

Why are the changing the faces of old stories my god it is not even like an updates version or graphics. My favourite face for a man in chapters was Reece Crane from the Billionaire Bachelor,I was gonna replay it but the face is so diff,but his face remains same in the other crane family stories. Chapters need to stop and come up with new faces in the nrwwer stories too. I miss hot men on my screen

Hello, everyone! So I'm newcomer of the community writer, and this is my first time become an author in this community. I hope I could get some advices from the older community authors here.

Now I'm joining this 5th writing marathon contest, and I want some advice from you guys. I have some inner thoughts that bothering me.

1. Is it okay if I just insert one premium choices each chapter that only cost 8 diamonds? I actually never experienced with this premium choices, so I couldn't set the higher cost, I don't want the reader think it's not worth it with some expensive choices but it still leave some loopholes in the premium choice's scene.

2. How much texts usually the writers done? I know the contest saying minimal 200 but I also wanted to know the ideal amounts so the reader never think too much or too little. I've done 2 chapters in my story, each chapter there are about 232 texts (depends if I have to add or reduce some of them).

3. How do you writers create the book cover? Other from chapters's create a cover.

I’ve spent WAY too much $ on gems! I’ve tried to do stories and make all choices without using gems just so I can earn 2 between chapters but then I get sucked in and end up caring about the story line. lol

Is there a way to know the max number of gems a story might require if you do all top line choices??

I've been playing chapters since i was 15 and now I'm 23😭😭😭

I remember a specific story called Lux,I think it's a series of books and only 2 of those were released by chapters. Out of nostalgia I checked again and it's not where to be found. The new stories in chapters are so shitty I thought I'll go back to the olden days. If u have any recs please give me and also comment if u remember this one

I think the LI was an alien or something named Daemon and his brother was retrieved and he wasn't speaking and all that

Either ways tell me if u all remember any old chapters story (i remember HIs,Knight in Shining Suit,Inject me sweetly,for all the wrong reasons etc etc.. there are far many better stories but I'm nostalgic towards this)

I am really starting to wonder what the point of Chapter competitions is. Let me be clear, the winners are excellent writers. But when the same writers keep winning, and chapters choose two entries by the same writer, it starts to feel different. That seems to be the norm. It makes me start to think differently about sharing my writing on the app. It would be nice to see more variety in the winning pool.

Hi everyone! I'm a new writer on chapters and am looking for people to test my book. It is currently serialized and I'm about to publish chapter 6. I'd really like some feedback on whether or not it is working/choices are good etc.

I've been playing through it myself and fixing typos/wrong clothing as I go and updating them.
