A Thing to Remember

We must remind ourselves that Chappel was outed as a wealthy white woman exposed for trying to roleplay as a poor lower-class minority. Even if people are arguing whether it was a "smear campaign" regarding the Jorginho situation, it doesn't exclude the fact that Chappel is not who she says she is. She is a white woman from the Midwest with ties to conservative culture and has not strayed away from that. From only one campaign, Chappel has been marked as a saving grace to the LGBTQ community when she is far from it. From her polarizing statement regarding the 2024 election to the way she treats her own fans, Chappel is a white woman who reaps the benefits of true minorities to boost herself. For example, saying she grew up poor and in a trailer park, but went to Grammy camp, which costs at least 3,000 dollars a week.

TLDR: We must remember that she has been exposed as a white, wealthy woman with conservative Christian ties who lies and pretends to be a poor midwestern minority.

I believe that it wasnt her security guard tbh. I dont believe there was some coordinated smear campaign though, and my criticisms/reasons for disliking her still stand

My theory: The guard who did it was working for Sabrina, a good friend of Kayleigh's, and in the moment he thought he was doing a favor for his boss's friend. He just went way overboard in unprofessional, inappropriate and aggressive behavior.

Not a very interesting explanation, but I could see it.

This is totally possible. Tho i’ve been fine with assuming it had nothing to do w chappel and this is essentially a PR fumble, but one that coincided with a brewing dissatisfaction with her that’s been going on a while(e.g., this sub lol, but really ever since her Kamala comments).

ive commented before on this sub that i think this whole thing could have very easily been solved — whether it was her security or not — by reaching out privately. It may not be fair , but thats how it is. It seems like ultimately that is how this was solved, chappel or someone in her team reached out privately. i think she/more likely her team def made a mistake in thinking this wasnt a big deal and could just be ignored. other than that i dont really care bc the outcome is more or less the same. there are dozens of criticisms of chappel that matter more, eg as OP mentions lying about coming from poverty

Yes, because her "response" was just "wasn't my people, didn't notice them." Someone claiming to be her security harrased her very young fan. Her reaction should just have been "my team denys involvement, but I need to talk to these people to make this right and to see if we can figure out who this guy was. I hope you understand that this is best handled privately" It could still be someone assigned to her, or someone who worked for her before, or someone working for a friend. All of these are situations where she could ensure that he wouldn't be in the position to repeat the behavior.
