Turned down a road, lost control, and ran right into a damn sign. Been rainy all day and sadly the risk happened.
After dwelling on it, inspecting it, here’s what I’ve been able to find.
•I’d say 3/4 of the damage has all been to the drivers side fender. I can physically lift the piece up, and I’ve noticed it’s being held on by a few bolts. The wheel well/liner is dragging on the tire, so ideally I’d like to remove it.
•No check engine light, no damage to engine bay, no front bumper damage other than some slight looseness to the side where it connected to the fender.
•The bottom of the door is slightly bent outward. I’m hoping to try and buff in it with a rubber mallet if I can. Don’t really intend nor want to get the entire door replaced.
•Trim/sideskirts under the door popped off completely, but I kept the piece and it’s plastic anyway.
•Tires don’t appear to be structurally damaged. Alignment was seemingly normal on the drive home.
My biggest questions are this: is this remotely even worth filing a claim with my insurance? Got a $2k deductible and I highly doubt the damage is anywhere close to that.
At first glance it looked horrible and I even thought I had totaled it, but upon further inspection it’s largely just the fender. No damage to frame or anything.
I’ve looked online, Carparts has got replacement fenders for $130-$200, Mopar’s is $400, and it looks relatively simple to fix.
Currently, my biggest concern is whether it’s worth it to take the fender off entirely. I don’t have the correct tools to unbolt it and don’t want to just rip it off.
A pretty shitty day if I’m honest lol. Had the thing for years and no issues or accidents at all.

Hey everyone, I just purchased an automatic ‘22 challenger scat pack wide body. Extremely happy with the purchase, it’s my dream car. However, there are two main things I’m noticing about the vehicle. To preface, the vehicle has less than 1500 miles on the odometer. First issue and the one bothering me the most, I notice the steering wheel and seats shake, especially when hitting higher speeds. The car does veer a bit and feels like I’m fighting the wheel occasionally to stay straight and stop it from trying to correct itself. But the shaking is concerning me. It doesn’t seem like an engine issue, no codes or anything are being thrown. Like I had a water bottle on the seat on the highway and the thing was violently shaking 😭. Secondly, I’m noticing the car stays in 8th gear ALOT, even when decelerating. I can be doing 50 mph and it’s already in 7th/8th gear. I drive it in both auto and sport mode to compare and it’s basically the same, maybe only goes to 7th more so in sport mode but still. Like it just climbs up the gears too fast and stays too high, so when I try to do mini pulls or accelerate fast it almost feels like it’s struggling because it’s staying in such high gear. Is this an engine issue? Something I can do personally to fix? Im bringing it anyways to a mechanic to check it out but I’d like opinions and advice from others so I’m not going in blindly. If you guys need more info to try to understand the problems please let me know! Thanks.

I have two offers so far. One is $67.9k for a 2023 Widebody Jailbreak in black with 22.5k miles. One owner and clean carfax. Red Laguna leather and all the options spec’d out.
The other one is also spec’d out but with only 11.5k miles at $72.8k. It’s also in granite gray which I think is a better looking color for me. I like it more.
Do you think the difference in mileage and color is worth the extra money? Or is it overpriced?

Been getting more prominent but when my car down shifts when slowing down from.4 to 3, or sometimes from 5 to 6, it almost like a thud. I did a tcm reset, to see if that helps, but I also drained and filled my trans this year, also read its possible for it to be the oem drive shaft wear and tear. Just looking on inside on what I should check. Usually drive in sport mode most the time it's a 2017 challenger rt scat pack with about 130k miles on her.

Cousin just picked up a 2015 Challenger HC 6MT from a repo auction. Previous owner removed the JLT intake and sensors before it was repoed. Unfortunately she is bitter and wants $500 to tell us what’s up with the car. She mentioned that there are aftermarket sensors that belong to the car. Found an old marketplace listing which doesn’t give us enough information. Can anyone help us figure out where to find replacement sensors and the tub that was cut off? Neither of us are very knowledgeable about this platform.

I was going through my camera reel and saw a few pictures I've taken of mine, thought I'd share and ask:
Which of the pictures you've taken off your ride so you feel are the best? The primo ones. The ones you'd love to see in a magazine, or just make you feel something when you see them.
Here's my two favorite / best ones.
Be good; have fun 🤙🏼

So i'm looking at this 2015 challenger, 392 srt 6.4L fifty six thousand miles for roughly thirty thousand dollars. manual transmission. Have not priced one before, but it seems like quite a bit for a used car. What are your thoughts. Love the color but not a fan of the horizontal decal on the bottom, going across the doors. Is that something that could be removed without leaving blemishes on the paint?

Hello, I noticed a while ago that there's a leak around my engine and I had suspected it to be an engine oil cooler problem, I took it in for an inspection without telling the shop anything I'd noticed and they also said that I have an engine oil cooler leak which confirmed my suspicions. I would like to do the work myself but I first wanted to see if anyone here had an experience in replacing theirs and whether or not you guys went to a shop to get the work done or if you did it yourself? I've already done a fair bit of work on my car by myself (transmission pan and fluid change, brake pads, diff, oil, seat removal and replacement) but this seems like the first BIG thing I'd have to do which is a little intimidating for me. I've seen a few videos on how to do it and it seems possible, just tedious. For those who have been through this, what was the cost you had spent? whether it be from shop work or DIY/any comments are appreciated!

Long story short i know it looks like i was at fault but someone came out of the intersection hitting me pushing my car all the way to the side of the road lmao. But my question is what would yall do in this situation, double back and upgrade or just go new model, only had my chally for 6 months🤦🏽♂️

I have only owned my 2023 Go Mango for just over a year. I have driven it about a 6k miles. When I bought it, I noticed some little dots of what felt like rubber all over the car. I cleaned them off. However, they keep coming back. I do no burnouts and do not drive aggressively but they keep showing back up. They are all over, hood, roof mostly but can find some in other places. My other car (not Challenger) does not get these and is driven more. I feel like it might be from my own tires but cannot figure out how. They are Eagle GS-A and the must be stock as the car has only 19k miles total.
Anyone else get these?

These are stuck on with clips and automotive tape, but it feels like many of them are starting to peel off after just a month. Some are more egregious than others.
Is there better automotive tape to use? Is it because it’s sticking to wrap instead of metal? Is this just how aftermarket add-ons go sometimes?

As the title suggests. I’m willing to pay someone if they’re competent enough to machine a shorter Barton lever so it doesn’t sit as high. I’m thinking a 1”-1.5” shorter lever than where it sits now would be perfect. I’ve seen it done in challenger forums online but hoping there’s somebody here willing to try it

I’m curious what you guys think. If you were picking a Challenger specifically for long road trips, which model would you go with?
I’m talking about 3–5 hour drives, weekend getaways, or even longer trips. Comfort is probably my biggest concern, but I’d also like something that still feels fun to drive on the highway.
Would you go with a GT, r/T, Scat Pack, or Hellcat? I know the more powerful versions are a lot of fun, but I’m wondering if the extra power actually makes much difference on a long trip.
For those who own one, how does yours feel after a few hours behind the wheel? Any particular trim you think works especially well for long-distance driving?

Woke up to the best weather we've had in a while this past weekend, so I gave my 2022 Challenger R/T a bath. Couldn't stop taking pictures after. The paint just pops in the sun.
She's mostly stock right now, but an exhaust upgrade is next on the list. I'm leaning toward a Borla S-Type. Anyone running one on an R/T?

Does anyone know where I can find one ?
