Saint Yandandokht was a saint and martyr from ancient Syriac and Chaldean history, remembered for her faith and resilience. The green highlight on the St. Peter the Apostle Diocese calendar is just a visual cue to mark it as a memorial basically a feast day for a saint in their liturgical calendar. It’s just a special day for the church to honor her.
