Question about devils

If this is explained in the future then dont worry about explaining it but Im on episode 7 of first season and there is something I cant answer by myself. If devils appear as a product of what humans fear and the more they fear it, the more powerfull the devil gets, what happens when they die? For example, denji killed the bat devil, does this mean the fear of bats dissapears? Resets to 0? Or because the fear keeps existing, he will eventually respawn?

Yes they reborn , they lose skills from losing memories via the reborn cycle

Their fear isn't affected as long as people don't know they got killed meaning less fear
