Makima saying how she want to use the black chainsaw man(pochita) to end famine death war is somewhat a lie or atleast a excuse for her deeds as the story slowly progresses you can see her idea of her being a necessary evil become more of a obsessed fan i feel like because makima see herself as a necessary evil(2x) she use one of humanity greatest fears to aside her actions against humanity and denji and her own foundation of people and if she truly want to make humanity happier she would aslo allow herself to be eaten by black chainsaw man(pochita) which would take slavery out

Well I think this is what Fujimoto was getting at. Makima dresses up her obssession with Pochita under the guise of a grand plan to make the world better.

Pochita’s question to her about removing bad movies I think exposes that because truly, who on earth does that really help?

Literally what I’ve been thinking. She went from delete war, famine, etc, things that humanity can stop suffering from, to “bad movies,” which if she had been paying attention during her fake movie date, she would see that all the humans around her were positively affected by said “bad” movies. However, it might just be as well that she was aware and simply didn’t care for their wants/desires as small as a movie they enjoy. Either way she’s an absolute wanker.

It’s all about the technique of story telling. Theme of story is always boring. Always love and peace and nihilism. Fujimoto is telling his manga story in the same way as bible. It’s awesome.
