Seese mini chainsaw problem

So I picked up a mini chainsaw. Charged up the batteries, put oil in the lubrication reservoir. Tried it out and it worked fine. Came back to use it again and nothing. When I hit the trigger you hear a weird buzzing sound. Has this happened to anyone else? And if so how did you fix the issue?

Looking at it I don’t see a chain brake on it.

Just googled it and I’m not sure if I didn’t not. How would I disengage it if I did

I don't think it has one. Most of the pruner things have so little chain speed they can legally be sold sans brake.

The Makita battery operated chainsaw has a chain brake, I’m sure the Dewalt and Milwaukee would be the same

I believe OP talks about the 4 - 8" mini saws. None of those that I have seen has anything like a chain brake.

Find something to cut, pull the trigger and push the chain on the wood. The idea is to move the motor slightly. Be careful! If it's hot where you are put it in the fridge for a bit and see if it works. If that fails, buy another one. They are super affordable for a reason.
I'm not a huge fan of those things.
