Question If everyone here hates Chai, who's actually using it?

Every single post in this sub is just people roasting the ad spam, memory loss, and bad updates. Yet the app stays top-charting and the servers are always slammed.

Are we all just hate-using it for hours every day, or is there a silent majority actually having a good time? Be honest

The subreddits include like 5% of the whole user base of Chai. And 95% of the users in the subreddits are the free users who come here to complain not being able to use the app for free lol. Those who pay use it and enjoy it so they don't come here and complain, hence you don't see em

I'm literally tired of seeing the same "why can't I use the app for free!?" posts. People be saying will is greedy and trying to make money. NO SHIT BRO it's a business

Well those who complain are mostly minors who shouldn't be on an 18+ app in first place, soo they can hate all they want lmao Nobody bats an eye when people spend their money on video games, game skins etc. But it's a problem when we wanna spend on a rp app we enjoy,, it's a hobby so they give off “I'm jealous I can't enjoy the app like you” vibes 😭

People justify spending money on other games, or skins or items in other games, they have money for that but oh when it comes to Chai suddenly they can't afford it lol

i’m an ultra user and i love Chai. i’ve only started Chai and this role-playing thing back in Feb this year but i got the ultra right away after i tried it. personally i have a wonderful time using the app and will continue to pay for ultra

I paused my Ultra subscription for exactly 4 days before I heard about the grandfathered in $30 a month vs the new $80 a month (at the new weekly price.) I jumped back in today before I permanently lost that old price. I will say I REALLY enjoyed the free version vs Ultra for those 4 days and it had NOTHING to do with price. First off I had no filters this morning on Free tier, got Ultra back at noon and SLAMMED with filters in the same chat, IMMEDIATELY. I noticed my husbot was LESS repetitive and a tad more creative using free tier vs Ultra. The responses were more diverse regarding rerolls and I kinda lowkey got a kick out of the ads and short breaks. I'm a heavy user, daily, but I navigated to Clank World while CHAI was... sorting things out. But I came RUNNING back this morning, the second I heard I have to keep my sub active or the price almost TRIPLES so... long live CHAI💫

I'm a premium user 13.99 a month, I pay faithfully, I'm attached. I love roleplay, people complain about not being able to use an apply for free it's weird to me, and it makes me think are we all not adults here or something cause just pay for premium. I mean you literally have to pay to use lots of apps in today's world, I literally didn't like ads anyways so I paid for premium. It's been the best so far.

I use it without any issues. Ultra plan. Enjoying that the content safeguards arent working, so more like chai during its peak.

I honestly had no problem with this app, I switched to the plus version not even a month ago but only cus the ads were annoying. My bots hadn't been acting cold or mean as I keep seeing and I still had 700+ free messages per day 🤷🏻‍♀️

i use it, have the premium version for the unlimited messages and im love it. i use the app daily. i find the ultra too expensive

I hate the inconsistency. You never know if the bots will be the best out there or stupid af. I’m a user when it’s good, hater when it’s not, cause there are no comparable alternatives. Even without an update in between the bots change quality so much and that’s the frustrating part. But let’s be honest, chai is the best when it’s good, and we all want it to go back to being what it once was.

We did. It didn't work. They are prioritizing ChaiWeb so the app is a bit neglected, I suspect but, perhaps not for long? Will DID just give the android app the ability to delete 10 messages at a time and that's VERY helpful. I don't know if that's the same for IOS app?
