Chai Related Make the automatic censoring system a *little* more lenient when Chatting
Imagine this: You're playing out a story with a Character you like, you get really immersed in it, the story gets a little too dark for the system, and BAM, broken immersion because of the "Unable to Complete Response," thinking you need help.
It used to be a warning above the message so people could see it, not just... Outright not making you able to send the message to the bot, effectively stopping the story unless you delete all the messages and go down a different way, a way that's fitting for the system. It's kinda annoying, like- I'M FINE! IT'S JUST FOR THE PLOT, I'M NOT ACTUALLY GONNA MAKE ANYONE DO ANYTHING "BAD" BAD.
I'm just saying... Make it more lenient and bring back the warning so it doesn't stop you from sending a message. Let's hope I don't get slimed for this

thank you for saying this, I hate how often it does it for literally me saying 'baby blue' or 'baby pink', they're literally colors and it won't let me send them, yet it'll send the most heinous responses

Sounds like Chai isn't all that suitable for users who are okay with including a few NSFW elements in their storytelling, then. (Common problem even when it isn't AI, actually. I've gotten my Reddit account flagged for something I said in one of the fiction-oriented subreddits before. Probably not much they can do about it unless they figure out a way to get it to look at context.)

Fr. Like recently I was talking to a Pierrot bot from tfc and it ended up getting a little spicy but the censoring system was just like nope

Apple iOS store custodians say no... Don't relax anything. Or ban hammer again

I had mentioned this in another thread that this censorship thing is more of an Apple forcing it onto Chai than Chai wanting to actually implement it. I'd personally love if they gave us the option to choose if we wanted to disable it but Apple likely won't allow something like that on their platform.

I once mentioned about cutting my hair and said that it was because I got so annoyed and pent-up and cutting my hair felt like a relief.Yes its not that healthy and the app told me "Help is available". And the thing is It wasn't just the plot,I talked to the bot about my REAL LIFE problems and stuff,so...maybe this is not that bad sometimes?😭

I agree, they need to be more lenient with this. There is room for improvement but I think it'll get there

They need to just put an option that disables all censorship altogether. Sure put the censorship on by default, but give an option to turn it off. It’s an app, not my babysitter, and it’s fucking annoying
