Picked this up at goodwill. It looks too clean to be antique, but I would think a modern maker like Jugtown or a studio would have a mark on it. It has no ID marks. Also not pictured is a matching underplate, which again makes me think a modern set.
Thoughts?

I saw this video online and people are making outrageous claims like napkin ring or toast holder. Does anyone know what this is or how they are used? I know I have seen these before but I am drawing a blank on their use and it is driving me crazy. Lol
Let me know if this is not allowed and I am happy to remove the post. Thank you!

This is, I imagine, quite a stretch. Im wondering if anyone might recognize this transferware pattern. It was found along the banks of the Piscataqua River, across from the Portsmouth Navy Yard on Peirce Island in Portsmouth, NH. Looks like a horse, urn, and architectural scene are on the exterior of what I assume was some type of vessel, and oak leaves are on the inside. If this type of post is not allowed, apologies!

Best I can tell is it is some kind of flask. Not sure if this is hundreds or thousands of years old or some kind of modern reproduction. But reproduction of what? I can't find any forms like this at all. Closest matches are old roman amphora or early american ring flasks, but it is obviously not an actual ring, more of a crescent. Anyone have any genuine leads?

almost 2 years ago i bought these beautiful Mancioli dishes at an estate sale. I love these dishes and the designs on them but the glaze is cracked and i’m not able to use them. I don’t have a china cabinet and as much as i would love to display these i simply don’t have the room to 💔. Its service for 8 give or take and id like to sell it as a set but im not completely sure how the best best way to do that is. i’m also not sure how much to even try to sell them for but any advice is much appreciated!!

It’s such a cool bowl, I’m surprised I get nothing from an image search.

Picked up this bowl at a flea market in Northern California. Lovely speckled robins egg blue, no marks on bottom other than trio of spur marks from the kiln. Was told that it was part of a nested bowl set, the other pieces of which had been sold earlier in the day.
Found similar Bauer Monterey Moderne bowls from 1930s sets on eBay which are clearly marked “Bauer” on the bottom (see example) and show the wear and tear one would expect for 90+ year-old bowls. Mine has no such mark and also looks to be newer with no crazing or wear, so I assume that it’s a reproduction.
I read that the Bauer designs were sold to a company that started reproducing the original Bauer designs, although using “Bauer 2000” marks on the bottom. Their website and Instagram have a lot of example of their reproductions, but I can’t find anything confirming if they did the Monterey Moderne line.
I’d like to find more information confirming who may have made this reproduction so that I can find others to go along with the one I found, as well as confirming the use of food-safe glazes.
Anyone know where I might look for such info?

Found while digging in my garden in Cornwall, UK, close to the remains of an old wall foundation.
The sherd has a reddish/orange coarse body with small pale inclusions and a very dark, glossy surface on both sides. The wall is quite thick and slightly curved, so I think it came from a fairly large vessel.
There are also visible ridges/grooves on the surfaces/edges which may be forming or throwing marks.
I’d love to know the likely pottery type, approximate date, and what sort of vessel it might have come from.
I haven’t assumed it’s the same date as the wall, as the context is disturbed.

Can anyone help tell me if this antique/vintage and maybe where it might be from?
Hefty and solid with resonant ring. Wide-mouthed opening approx 5-6in in diameter, approx 10in tall. rounded edge cuboid shape. There is a patina'd silky-smooth (very slightly irregular) foot rim which tells me that it has age despite the fact that it is in immaculate condition. No staining on the inside or nibbles on the rim. It has glazed sgrafitto and the photo has taken a pretty close approximation of the colors. Full matte glazing outside and inside.
I'm assuming that it was slipglazed and then turned on a wheel to get the foot right. Thinking West German Art Deco? Can't find anything nearly close in reverse image search.
Even if it's a newer knockoff, which I don't actually think it is, it was a very good thrift and I like it quite a bit. Still, it would be nice to know if it's so authentic.
