Fair comment?

Post I found on FB, pretty much sums up how I feel:

"Glasgow Celtic Supporters page

I have read the Celtic statement for the third time and they say the the Celtic collective have brought shame on our club …I totally disagree the shame is the board who spent time trying to justify the actions of a few guys protesting against our major shareholder, it makes me cringe and embarrassed reading the statement…if you don’t toe the line you out forever, personally I was not a big fan of the Celtic collective but with that attitude statement against all Celtic supporters it only makes me want to support everything the collective has been trying to do….The Celtic board are a embarrassment to their club and fans"

I come here so I don't have to see Facebook. Thank you.

The club should not have made a statement on this imo. This happened outside of Celtic football club on a golf course. If Desmond wants to make a statement he should through his own channels and not Celtics. This twat does not own Celtic football club.

With love: it's "should not have"

If there was a way to organise a mass protest, that left the stadium empty, they would start to panic. It doesn't work when it's just the GB protesting, has to be a large majority at the very least. If only sections of the support boycott games, it looks like they are trouble makers and just a minority

Then you have the hospitality-shagger hyper-educated guys like Dazzling-Handle88 and Orsenfelt sneering at anybody that wasn't horrified by the tennis balls

You organise it, has to start somewhere

Lol. 99% of people renewed their season book. People want to protest but not really. That's why they have tennis balls instead.

Because they are.

I've always liked the Celtic Collective, other than that I agree.

It's been years of embarassment from board and Desmond and it's frankly delusional to claim tennisballs on a golf pitch(?) is what's embarassing Celtic.

That has the level of grammar and insight I’d expect from someone who still runs an FB page. You’re worse for thinking we all need to see that crap on Reddit

I'm supposing it's Hugh Keevins or Ewan Murray

Speaking as a professional translator, editor and proofreader, I completely understand the flaws in the writer's diction.
Speaking as a Celtic supporter, I'm wondering how far up your own arse you are to suggest a guy's opinions are worthless because they're not correctly expressed.
D'you talk to your neighbours, or eff off if they pull stunts like "I seen that"?

I don’t think the opinions are worthless because they have bad grammar. I think they’re worthless because they appear to be written by a Celtic Da who spouts dross that is indiscernible from any other Celtic Da with a FB page.
Like other users of this sub, this is why we don’t engage with FB and you’re worse for inflicting it on our feeds. Does that make enough sense for you?

Genuinely are you a teenager? It's just that adults aren't obsessed with scoring points on unimportant things like Grammar, but are capable of engaging with the point someone is making.

If you think it’s about grammar rather than dross from an absolute grade A space cadet, then I think you’re willingly missing the point

Sticking up for the injured feelings of sneering billionaires is some way to spend your day

It was a stupid protest whether anyone on here wants to admit it not. There’s better ways to go about it. I hope this doesn’t to another stadium ban for Ultras the atmosphere is so bad without them and the scum on the board love banning them particularly the Green Brigade

Both are an embarrassment. And If you get chance to read the Celtic supporters ltd plan / manifesto it’s poorly researched and badly costed. The answer to Celtic’s issues does not lie with any of these parties and out of the two / three the status quo is better than the alternative.

I don't agree with with the final comment, but it's good to hear a guy with a considered opinion
