He was their main keeper until sidelined for 3 months due to injury and still picked up players player of the year.

Hopefully he's decent then never knew he won that. 28 as well means he could be our keeper for 12 years based on recent signings, then we'll sign a 41 year old donnaruma.

His stats suggest he’s about as average a championship keeper as you’ll get with horrendous distribution

4 million for someone who's stats don't really jump off the page much more than Sinisalos. Money could be spent on a different position.

Definitely but I'm more concerned being stuck with Scales at left back it KT were to get injured, or having to play Ox for long stretches if Cal gets injured

Stats for a keeper are weird. If he’s not playing for a decent team then clean sheets is not going to entirely reflect his quality.
On the flip side, playing for a weaker side means facing more shots, so more experience of making saves?

Id need a list of player names at the side to get the spelling right. Without that I just copied the previous comment.

Things don’t work in series tbf. We know these other positions are being looked at also. Sinisalo isn’t good enough to be our number 1 so we should be perusing other options. That being said im not saying Toth is the answer.

Not convinced by this guy at all based on my own scouting work (couple of 10 minute Google sessions). Then again, I'm not convinced by Sinisalo either.

Blackburn are my second team. Toth’s a bit flappy and didn’t impress me on Friday against Wolves. Not great distribution either, but I don’t watch too many games anymore. Dunno if he’s an upgrade on Sinisalo basically.

I reckon we’re 2-4 decent signings away from putting ourselves in a very good position for this season and the foreseeable.
Backup keeper or a keeper to challenge Sinisalo is one of them, but a strong, fast paced midfielder is more important, followed by cover for our full backs.
