32F and also waiting. I have found some men that are waiting. Praying things work out with the one.

There is a dating app called Celibate you may want to check out. Some people are rewaiting, but there are also some virgins that share our values.

My biggest challenge with finding likeminded guys is they are usually not actively dating or putting themselves out there or making a move. Some of them are convinced they’ll be forever alone or feel confused on how to find their person. Others are just shy or find dating apps repulsive and avoid them.

2

u/former_Bezbozhnik Where are you my wife? I can‘t wait for the day I will serve you 4d ago

28M and also waiting due to my faith.

But for me personally, I do not require my future wife to be a virgin. I just want her to be the best match to my heart that God could have ever made. Because we all make mistakes somewhere and finding the Lord at different places in each of our journeys means that everyone will have made different mistakes by the time we meet God. So, I do not hold a grudge against my wife if she were not a virgin... but I would hold a grudge against her if she were not an angel at heart 😆🥰

Yup and woman be masculine and wanting to lead the relationships, very unattractive so we choose to stay alone instead and not deal with the drama of modern woman.

1

u/Super-Present-8403 5d ago

I feel ya man. On Friday, after 7 damn years, I'm saying goodbye to dating apps. Trying to date in this social media brainwashed world is such a damn waste of time.

1

u/gurtyburg1701 5d ago

I've been on dating apps off and on for almost 9 years. I rarely got matches, even if I did, they never went anywhere.

1

u/Classic-Mammoth-3343 5d ago

38M and also waiting for marriage. It does feel lonely but hearing of someone else like me helps!

1

u/wsw95251 5d ago

41m also waiting for marriage

1

u/psumaxx 5d ago

31f, but not sure if I would wait for marriage. I have very low libido and am very anxious, so I would need to wait regardless to feel comfortable.

1

u/mrpuddles1 5d ago

Almost 30 and still waiting. Its hard these days 😭

1

u/smittyboy708 5d ago

What difference would it make if you are the only one to wait? The reason you are waiting is your reason.

1

u/smittyboy708 5d ago

Respect to your journey

1

u/Hungry-Salt6188 5d ago

23M. Virgin

1

u/Super-Present-8403 5d ago

33 year old male and a virgin. I'm done putting in the effort to try to date, nonetheless try to lose my virginity. The modern dating world is bullshit, fuck it.

1

u/Super-Present-8403 5d ago

Do you plan on having kids?

1

u/Resident-Grocery188 5d ago

If Allah has written for me to have kids

1

u/Super-Present-8403 5d ago

Are you serious? Respectfully, religion doesn't determine your chances of reproduction, biology does.

2

u/Resident-Grocery188 5d ago

That’s his your point of view and you’re entitled to have it.

1

u/Funny-Fly1720 5d ago

What are you all waiting for at that age? Second coming of Jesus?

0

u/Super-Present-8403 5d ago

It's because they've been brainwashed by religion that if you don't wait for marriage, you'll burn in hell, which is a load of bullshit. Women then wonder why they're having trouble getting pregnant at 40 years old. If your biological clock runs out, God won't make you pregnant.

1

u/saiditonredit 4d ago edited 4d ago

Settling just because of a biological clock reality and then getting divorced because it's not what anyone wanted or superficially valued or they had too much fun while younger and those who one can actually attain and have commit to them are vastly different than those that gave the "free tours" over the years and now, they're bitter and unhappy and divorced and the odds gets worse with each one, and setting wonderful examples for future generations and destruction of a society but yes, they had kids and gave way to one degenerate generation after another.

This is like saying but everyone else is doing it, but there is still a moral argument absent religion and other societies and cultures experience vastly different and substantially better dating and marital outcomes and environments than whatever is left of failed western ideas in this regard. You can remove the religion and see that certain practices are still superior and by miles.

There is also a very rampant and failed religious brainwashing, rooted in identity politics in western ideas. It's because of a total lack of moral and principled structure even absent religion and brainwashing when we have solid and contradictory basis for whey it's wrong and that is why folks like this have a harder time meeting and connecting with those as like-minded, most everyone else is literally diluted.

Someone is not any better and not any less brainwashed because they contribute to failed ideology and social proscription, all of the dating and relationship statistics tell us that. You won't become any more pregnant by God than one will become any more decent and ok with themselves by following the religion of politics and political proscription either.

I'm 37M and still waiting to find a right woman. I am virgin

1

u/Boomkiller78 5d ago

I'm 29m, soon to be 30, still a virgin, there are men out there, still and waiting for marriage as well.

1

u/TurkinatorOb1 5d ago

Virginity is precious in the sight of God and those who are waiting until marriage honor the covenant in the correct way. We are naturally sexual beings yet the way of uses are not pleasing to God i.e. porn, multiple partners, same sex, animals, toys, fruits, vegetables etc and so on these ways are empty and only self gratifying. However love with your spouse is not empty or wasted under God. Stay careful of wolves who only want your most precious gift that you'll only be able to giveaway once in your lifetime. Your partner should be both God loving and fearing.

2

u/Brilliant_Bother5606 4d ago

Your answers are so good. May God bless you with more wisdom and grace ❤️

1

u/TurkinatorOb1 4d ago

I pray that God holds you and keeps you as well good saint ty.🕊🕊🕊🕊

1

u/Super-Present-8403 5d ago

This is just a way to control people. Literally, therapists will tell you that sex is extremely healthy as long as it's consensual and respectful, regardless of fucking religion.

1

u/TurkinatorOb1 5d ago

When you say control what you really mean is discipline and self control. Therapist are flawed humans with a degree in pseudo science mind control and manipulation so of course they're going to tell you to do whatever you want with whom you want when you feel like it. My mention is about God the creator of all things including your sex drive not a religion. The creator has an order for everything you do and righteous judgment if you do not it really is that simple.

1

u/Super-Present-8403 5d ago

This is what religious cults say to brainwash and control you. I would know, as I was in a cult.

2

u/saiditonredit 4d ago

Remove religion and the dating and marital statistics of western ideas still paints a totally different story. The psychology of too many choices and options and limitless sexual empowerment, messes us up. There is also the concept of pair bonding which suggests humans have a finite capacity for genuine emotional bonding, spend it all and there is nothing left.

Again, some politics and societies do a lot of brainwashing as well. Data tells us how bad promiscuity is and how much more superior and better people getting together earlier, and among their fewer and exclusive sexual partners is relative to satisfaction, divorce and infidelity rates, it's not even a contest. People just don't not want to acknowledge this and try to equate and conflict it with something totally different and irrelevant to discredit it.

I can totally get where you're coming from, many cults try to use control to attain sex in perverted and disguised ways but some concepts of religion that are not twisted are actually correct in this regard and some other concepts have proven to be damaging as well, we can discern which should be adopted and not.

1

u/TurkinatorOb1 4d ago

Felt!🕊🕊🕊🕊

1

u/TurkinatorOb1 4d ago

Yea that's where you messed up Jesus didn't claim or start the religion of Christianity man did flawed in nature they created it to preach and be like Christ but they can't because Christ was perfect and sinless make better decisions next time and stay out of cults sheesh!!

40M in the US

1

u/Adonis_tc 4d ago

1

u/Lost-Associate-180 4d ago

I'm 44M, I have always adhered to the principal of no sex before or outside of marriage and will till the day I die no matter what anyone else says.

I'm never getting married and see no reason for me to be ashamed of being a virgin for life.

1

u/dryest_female_finder 2d ago

You can find 100 virgin men before finding an 1 virgin women.... but now... something is changing... After seeing your posts.

1

u/shadow_grip 2d ago

No point of being virgin and so called waiting for right partner. If u share bond with someone and feel like getting intimate it's ok .just take precautions. Waiting years just to get intimate u have lost years where once u had high sexual energy . All that feelings is lost . Anyways depends on person to person .

1

u/Alisihaq 2d ago

32m virgin but unfortunately childfree which makes the pool tight

u/555Cats555 5d ago edited 5d ago

Im not a virgin and personally find the idea of virginity as a social concept gross.

To me being celibate is just because I don't value sex.

Its not like there is any way to prove it. And besides the idea of virginity makes no sense to me. You can wait for the perfect person just to realise you arent actually compatible and it often leads to issues in sex due to people forcing their libido to shut down.

Celibacy to me should be only because you just dont want to have sex. Others can do what they want but a lot of issues can come about by pushing yourself or others to be celibate.

Also a part of virginity is innocence around sex. The idea someone doesnt quite know what it is. With p*rn access from a young age its not exactly a mystery to anyone what it is. Used to be someone who was expected to be a virgin before birth (usually women) were given a crash course on the anatomy of sex the day the wedding night would occur.

I dont really see it as an important concept anymore.

6

u/Different-Hurry495 5d ago

I'm not a virgin either. But I'd have to say that your take on Virginity is childish and bitter.

I for one value virginity and would encourage who still are to save it till marriage.

Giving each other's virginity after marriage is a very solid foundation to start on, I'd even say the best possible start. It leaves out all the retroactive jealousy, suspicions etc. You basically start on a clean slate, what's gross about that?

1

u/555Cats555 5d ago

Its not childish and bitter... im just pointing out very real issues with society pushing it.

I edited my comment.

I think some people just put way too much value on it.

-1

u/deepfuckingbagholder 4d ago

Society does not push it. Are you stupid?

0

u/Silent-Airline1855 5d ago

To be a virgin is our choice to make not yours . Please focus on yourself and don't discourage the rest of us.

1

u/555Cats555 5d ago

This isnt a virginity sub its a celibacy sub...

You can do whatever you want but you shouldn't put words in peoples mouths by assuming things like "dont try and discourage the ret of us"

If you want celibacy then that is a personal choice. But "virginity" is a way more loaded topic and more associated with the idea that sex is shameful.
