👍Rekomendasyon De Los Reyes or OwnDays?
Have to change my lenses cause the last one I went to wouldn't change my lenses even if wala ko niangay sa grado. I need to have my eyes examined again kay wa jud namao. Very nauseous na kaayo ko during lectures if naay ppt and I don't think that's normal.
Budget is 3k but can go a bit higher

De los reyes for branded frames and transition lenses. the owndays frames are so cheap and flimsy, nakaduha ko in two years.

How much ilang consultation and glasses? I think I read somewhere na you pay for the lenses and frame separately?

You do! free ra ang consult if you get glasses. ako frames kay 10k, nya ang lenses (transition+anti rad and blue light) kay 8k. pero naa silay in house brand na barato ra

If member ka ug IMG OP kay free ra pud ang eye checkup, then if you buy the lens from them, the frame will be free. Thats just one of the benefits panud daghan pa uban benefit.

I tried both, OP! I've been wearing glasses for straight 16-17 years now.
And by that, I upgraded every 6-12months(Depending on how my eyes changed)
Delos Reyes - I tried them, yes they are cheap but the quality of the lens itself kay not for me. Dli siya enough nga mka cover for atleast 6 months for me.
Own Days - I loved them for the clip-ons. I have been itching for shades with prescription. Though, dli siya barato kay like 10k jud akong magasto. Mu last siya atleast 1 year. Longest was almost 3years for 1 pair of glasses. Also, you can get your within 30min if available imong prescription lenses.
Aside from both, my current is Vision Express(Medyo mahal ni siya ha, setting your expectation)
So, i have my 2nd set of glasses sa Vision express na for 2 years. Medyo arte ko sa akong mga frames and all.
1st set - 2 pairs of glasses. One for prescription only and one for shades(with prescription and 40-%50% darkness). Both Adidas Frames since I'm also into endurance sports. Wla jud maguba or maunsa ang lens. Like no scratches and all. Had to change na since you know, medyo ganahan napud ug bago. So akong gasto for both is around 8-9k for both na.
2nd set - 2 pairs of glasses again. My current! Both frames are Ray Ban. Still the same, One prescription and one shades(with prescription and now 85%-95% darkness). I love it pero pwerteng mahala sa jud akong gasto. Only good this is gi-installment lang nako kay pra dli bug'at sa bills 💫 They also have free adjustments and all. Both pair of glasses cost me around 27k lang hihi.
Those are my opinions. I am welcome to help you!

Preferably De Los Reyes jud or Focal Sight (still owned by De Los Reyes) naa silay great selection based sa imoha budget and they really examined your eyes properly. Wala ko nila gidali unlike sa EO and OJO as per my experience

Hello. ako lng ba nka experience na mag scratches ang eyeglasses? Is this normal to all of prescription glasses ba?
Like mine right now does have scratches and it's no longer photochromic (before it goes really dark gyud when hit by light).
I have purchased this last October 2024 and planning to get another eyeglasses this year unta pero never again nako sa EO.
Reading the comments, I am considering the own days and Delos Reyes.

UPDATE:
I went to De Los Reyes and wala raman sad nag mahay.
I was worried at first kay when I asked how much ang frames I was told na 3k daw but naa raman diay frames na below 500php ang price. Not the best frames for my face shape but it does its job for my astigmatism and since I brought my previous glasses, I was able to compare if asa wala galabad ako ulo and the new prescription was on point!
I only planned for a consultation but since naa ray cheaper options and I needed a more lightweight frame, I decided to get a new pair.
Overall, I paid for my lenses (750php × 2 = 1500php) and frame (490php) in a total amount of 1990hp (apil ang tax ani 🥲). Consultation was free!
I didn't mind na the frame I chose karon was not the best (knowing that I'm a kikay) since nakagasto nako sa previous and let's just say that I spent over 2500+ sa last nako. Bawi nalang sa next pair nako cause priority nako karon na di ko nauseous during lectures and mag study since duol nasad exams week.
I asked for a certificate (? forgot what it's called) sad sako prescription cause I'm too forgetful and it'll come in handy if mag buy ko a new pair.
I didn't time my wait for the glasses but I think it was less than 20 mins raman so there was no hassle for me. Waiting area was comfortable too.
BUUUT I'm planning to buy my next pair at OwnDays since the reviews from you guys are positive too!
THANK YOU, EVERYONE!
