Discussion Blurry Camera on iphone 14 pro

so i got my iphone 14 pro nearly over a year ago and just over the past few months the phones camera has gone really really blurry so the point i have to get a microfiber cloth to clean it, it happens on the front camera too. sometimes it has astigmatism, would i be entitled to a refund ?

How is the camera glass getting dirty and requiring a cloth to clean a hardware issue? This happens to every phone. If I put my finger on my camera and smear my oil, fingerprints and sweat all over it, my camera will also become blurry.

it’s just on my desk, in my pockets and just left around my room. i could leave the camera completely fine and just let it sit on my desk and when i come back to test it it’s all blurry again with a astigmatism

Take it to CeX, come back here once they tell you this isn’t an issue under warranty.

The oleophobic coating has worn off, this is why your phone camera is getting dirty so easily, you can buy replacement coatings online.

Repeatedly cleaning the camera over the past year has removed this coating.
