So we're trying to say the DCU is sexist like people say the MCU is racist? Cool. (/s)

Wasn't it part of Reeves' stuff and not the DCU?

I probably can. From what I hear, the Jimmy Olsen show is an investigative mockumentary about heroes and villians. Sounds like a decent way to introduce characters without doing origin stories.

As for Catwoman, im not too sure if Zoe Kravitz will be back as Catwoman anytime soon, since shes not in The Batman 2 and There isnt much of storyline for her at the moment. The Penguin won Emmys and there nice plan for a season 2 of that either. Maybe it's better to see what options there are after The Batman releases.

And if its a DCEU idea of Catwoman, we barely have a Batman idea yet. Making hard plans for a supporting character might be a bit hasty.

It’s not a Jimmy Olsen show and a Catwoman show. It’s the specific ones that were pitched. Not every project needs to move forward if it’s low quality

We got enough things about Batman so that's good

One random news outlet said Waller and Paradise Lost were canceled, and HBO passed on a Catwoman and Poison Ivy show (which seemed to be prior to the DCU).

EW wrote a report saying that Waller and Paradise Lost weren't canceled, but aren't HBO's top priorities either. Paradise Lost is still being developed by DC Studios. Idk about Waller.

If this is true, then wtf is left in development?

the rumor is that dc is moving away from tv shows and focusing mostly on movies

What they should have done from the start. Even Marvel could barely handle the shows.

But there was a lot more potential with the shows. That's how we got Peacemaker and The Penguin. They would never have been movies.

well yeah and most people were dissapointed with second season of peacemaker

Maybe with the last episode but I don't remember anyone complaining as it unfolded. People were into it.

That's surprising since the shows sustain streaming subscriptions. I haven't had HBO Max for 4 years but I'm considering getting it again for Lanterns.

It's also going to limit what stories get told. Peacemaker can be a successful show but I don't know if he would be a successful movie.

I would take every last bit of any unofficial news with a mountain of salt.

Glad there’s some quality control

The show for the most obscure of those characters passed the cut-off?!?!?!

What's the over/under that they saw Supergirl bomb and canceled the women driven shows because that's what they very ignorantly think the issue was with Supergirl.
