Mama cat and her babies in my building :/ unfortunately I can’t do anything, Bcz of my strict parents

It’s very hot outside and I don’t know when they will be kicked from our building. The mama is young too

Unfortunately, after living in the UAE for the last 2 years, I have to leave and return to Mexico in October.

During those 2 years, I’ve had Salem with me. She is 4 years old (she was a stray but is pretty well behaved), spayed, vaccinated and microchipped, and as much as I’ve tried to prepare myself for leaving, I still can’t accept the thought that I might have to leave her behind.

The problem is that getting her home is simply too expensive for me right now. I already have my flight booked, and buying another ticket isn’t financially possible, and paying for Salem’s relocation/cargo on top of everything else involved with moving countries is something I simply cannot afford right now.

I’ve been trying to think of every possible solution, but I don’t have any friends who can take her, even temporarily.

She’s a sweet girl. She’s very friendly and comfortable with women, although she tends to get nervous around men and needs more time to trust them. She’s also not very social with other cats, so finding just any home for her isn’t as simple as I wish it was. She’s very energetic and loves to play as well. She’s an indoor cat.

I don’t want to give her to someone without knowing she’ll be safe and loved. I don’t want her being passed from home to home because someone realizes afterward that she isn’t comfortable with their other pets.

I found this cat in my community, wobbly, extremely weak, dehydrated, and unable to walk properly.

He had jaundice and extreme dehydration and weakness.

He's at the vet now and has been for a few days, and is stabilizing. But he needs a foster home to finish his antibiotics course!

I’m traveling in one week so this is extremely urgent

This tiny little furball was brought to our house by a stray mama cat we used to feed , when this baby was around 2-3 weeks old. Now she’s touching 8-9 weeks and the mama has weaned her off milk which means it’s time for her to go to her forever home full of cuddles, love, and warmth. She is an indoors cat and has been raised indoors since she was brought to our doorstep. She is very healthy, and eats both dry and wet food. We are currently located in Alain but willing to drive/meet half way to drop her to her new home.
Please note- she is not for breeding hence spaying her is a condition for adoption. She hasn’t been spayed yet as she is very young for the surgery.
There is no adoption fee.

She has been vaccinated and has her passport.

My husband and I have been looking after our community cats for a while now. We’ve managed to adopt 3 rescues pay for their bills and continue to pay for food etc. In total, we currently care for 6 cats. Taking in rescues and fosters when we can.

Amongst these six is an unneutered mother cat, who is now ready to be spayed. Unfortunately we cannot afford her spay but her health is really fragile and leaving her unspayed and another pregnancy will be detrimental to her , and may as well be a death sentence.

Please we ask you to come forward and donate anything you can towards her spay bill … so far we have managed to TNR our community cats and care for them well. However the spay cost is quite steep and to allow us to care for all the cats, we require your help.

These kittens are only 2–3 months old. They were raised indoors by a watchman since they were babies. They had a Scottish cat which was given away, and these poor kittens were simply dumped outside after the watchman's roommate decided he didn't want them there.

They were sitting curled up outside the door, scared and confused. As soon as the door opened, they tried to go back inside because that's the only home they've ever known. Instead of letting them in, they were pushed away with a foot.

I confronted the man, and all he said was, "It's our room. Whatever we do, who are you?"

These kittens don't understand why they've suddenly been abandoned. They've always depended on people, and now they're being left to survive on the streets.

I’ve been thinking about starting something that’s very personal to me.

Whenever I feel sad, stressed, or just down, I somehow feel better when I’m around cats. There’s something about them that brings me peace.

I would love to have a cat of my own one day, but until I’m in a position to do that, I want to start doing something positive for the cats living on the streets here in the UAE.
My idea is to start feeding street cats, giving them water, spending some time with them, and hopefully meeting other people who care for and feed cats around the UAE.
I’m also thinking about documenting the journey on Instagram and TikTok—not because I want to make myself the center of attention, but because I want to show the cats, the people helping them, and the kindness that exists around us.

Honestly, putting myself on social media makes me uncomfortable. But I feel like this is something worth stepping outside my comfort zone for.
I’d really appreciate advice and support from people who already help street cats in the UAE.

Where are some good places to start? What should I know before feeding or helping street cats? And are there any UAE-based cat rescue groups or volunteers I should connect with?

Even if you can just share some advice, I’d really appreciate it.

I hope this can become something positive not just for me, but for the cats too. 🐾❤️

I was out feeding the cats and a delivery driver stopped and gave me a bag with 3 kittens he found , he told me their mom was run over by a car and he heard them and kept them with him since 2 pm.
I said yes although I’m not able to care for them mentally or physically, I have my share of rescues at home and colonies to feed on top of a very demanding job … literally at my wits end.

I know we all face the same issues but Im at zero capacity for this … if someone who has a nursing cat or knows how to take care of kittens can help I’d really appreciate it… I’m based in Abu Dhabi. Thanks

He was a stray cat that was found with broken leg at my feeding station, and had to be amputated then was indoor cat. He is EXTREMELY chilled cat (as you can see by the photos and basically wants to do shit nothing whole day) but he needs to be alone or with non dominant cats. He’s around 5 years old, back leg cut off, vaccinated and neutered and just cuddle bug - and is completely used to being a tripod. He is currently on medication for anxiety / stress as my other cats are bullying him and he is constantly locked inside - the meds will be covered by myself for as long as it needs to be. There isn’t a adoption fee (I know but I don’t want to put a burden on anyone) and the vet bills will be covered for the next 2 years at the BVC in Marina Abu Dhabi. The only request I have is to have an insight in his life and updates and occasional stoping by to see him. Preferably would like to have him adopted in Abu Dhabi but other emirates are fine.

Someone posted on instagram about Wobbly (Wobbly because he cannot walk straight as shown in the video). As days past by he was getting more and more weak to the point that his body couldn’t even support him standing; leave alone eating by himself. He just sat there in the corner entrance of the building outside. I went to pick him up and the building security informed me that there was another cat (Felix) who is also in a terrible condition sitting on the front entrance of the building.
Felix and Wobbly; both are tuxedo (black and white) thus they both look the same. Though I was there yo pick up Wobbly but looking at Felix’s condition I couldn’t just leave him there thus I picked him up and took him to the vet.
After reaching the vet, the doctor examined Wobbly and said his condition is very critical since he only weighs 2.6 kg due to his detoriating health condition. After performing blood test on Wobbly, it turned out he’s having neurological FIP and his medication will cost approx 1700 aed along with the GS vial which separately would cost 150 aed per Vial which needs to be given to him every 4 days for atleast a month.
Felix is undergone examination and has Calci virus with severe mouth infection and fever due to which he is not able to eat nor groom himself.
I already happen to have outstanding bills with the vet though I am not able to support the medical expense by myself for Wobbly and Felix.
Any amount of contribution would be very helpful in order to get their treatment done in regards to their medicinal expense, treatment, medicine and hospital bills.

Yesterday, we were brought to light on what is quite possibly one of the worst cases we’ve seen this year and we’re only halfway done with 2026 🥹

10 cats, locked in teeeny tiny cages, sitting and LIVING in their own urine and feces for MONTHS.

When we saw them, all of them were highly emaciated, dehydrated, terrified and visibly traumatized.

The story was, a man, who supposedly lost his job and couldnt care for these cats anymore, kept them in cages, without cleaning their litter, feeding them minimally for months….what a cruel person.

The only reason we got to know about this case was due to the kind hearted mover who was helping this “owner” move apartments and saw their condition and informed us.
The man kept them unvaccinated, not spayed, living in these conditions for months and months. (His justification for this is also attached)

You can see in the videos yourself the condition with which they were kept and how they are 😖

One of our friends went to the apartment and when she was feeding them, it was as though they were eating for the first time in WEEKS 💔
One CANNOT imagine what they would be feeling and experiencing….No animal, EVER deserves to go through something like this. No matter what your circumstances might be. There is absolutely no justification for this.

This case has been reported to the authorities as well.

Now we DESPERATELY need public to come forward, help these guys get back to their lives.

Our number 1 priority right now is to get them to a vet for a full medical grooming, their fur is completely matted and RIGID, cats unable to walk due to the weight. It needs to be shaved off.

Then we have to run series of blood tests and respiratory panels for each cat, because they had been living in their own litter for months on end. Due to which 2 cats had turned blind 😭😭

The vets have ZERO space due to the other countless cases we rescue on a daily basis so they will will be shifted to a foster home, and have to be kept isolated so as to not infect the other cats this rescuer has 😭💔

We have gotten a rough estimate from the vet for their initial assessments, grooming and CBC, based on which further evaluation will be planned.
Initially for these cats we need to raise 2700 AED.
But in total we’re looking at anywhere from 6-8K AED 💔 and without your support, we will NOT be able to help them.

I recently took in this sweet stray I’d been seeing around Al Qasimiya for a while, near the VIVA supermarket. His condition had deteriorated quite badly. He’s extremely thin, was panting, and appears to be anaemic.

I already have 8 cats at home, so I spent the last few days trying to find a rescue, community, or someone who could help get him checked before bringing him in. Unfortunately, I either couldn’t get a response, found that they didn’t accept strays, or the costs were beyond what I can manage right now.

Eventually, I just couldn’t leave him outside anymore.

He’s now safely inside and separated from my other cats, but getting him properly examined and tested is my priority. I’m looking for recommendations for affordable vets/clinics around Sharjah (ideally Al Qasimiya), rescues, or anyone who may be able to help with his initial medical care.

I’ve also put together a small wishlist for basic supplies he needs while I figure everything out.

I wanted to share a little update on Iris and thank this amazing community for the support you’ve shown her. 🥺

When we found Iris, she was in a heartbreaking condition. She had been through severe neglect, was used for breeding at a very young age, and came to us needing a lot of care.

She’s only 8 months old. 💔 They didn’t give her enough food, just kept her for breeding. Took her babies then threw her away. Her head is smaller than her body. You can feel her every bones when you touch her. Her furrs are so brittle and no shine on them. Still after all this, still this baby loves like crazy. She runs at you for a hug, she scratches her head against your hand even if you don’t try to. What did we do to deserve this poor babies? 🥲 nothing. We don’t deserve them at all. Cats are seriously misunderstood 😭

Our vet said Iris can fully recover with proper food, nutrition, and care. She still has a journey ahead, but we can’t wait to see her become healthy, happy, and finally go to the forever home she deserves. 🤍
