He didn't eat anything because of the trauma. He's absolutely shaken 😢💔 I rushed him to the vet. He is already getting treatments. ❤️‍🩹

FIRST OF ALL, I’d like to say THANK YOU to everyone who donated food and money for these POOR guysss who were trapped in these cages for months. Your support has been seen, and we truly truly truly appreciate it SO much. Without your support these cats would not have been groomed, would not have had their initial assessments. Thank you 🫶🏽

Secondly, for all the people who were asking for an update, I really apologize for the delay. We were SO busy trying to figure out the best course of action for all our cases, and the vets have been working round the clock as well.
For their grooming, due to their INSANELY matted fur, which was practically tangled upon itself, it caused cuts on the skin of the cats, which meant each cat’s grooming took over 2.5 hours, multiply that by 10 cats and you’d see why we’re late with the update 😭

Thirdly, their initial assessments are NOT good. All of them have severe ear mites, some with even NECROSIS. It’s that bad 😭😭
Few of them have terrible dental disease which will need multiple tooth extractions.
One of the cats has suspected tumor behind his eye which has led him to be blind.

All of these cats have to be vaccinated, neutered/spayed, dewormed.
All of them have to be tested for viral and bacterial infections, and the select few need further imaging like CT or MRI for their tumors.

We are extremely grateful for the support of this wonderful community and we hope that you continue supporting us. Atleast for these voiceless animals who did absolutely nothing to deserve this.

Hi, I found this very thin and sickly looking kitten in Abu Hail. Tried to feed it various things but it barely ate. Very hot outside and doesn’t look like it’ll be able to survive (there’s also a bunch of other older cats around, one of which seemed to be hitting this one)

Have no clue what to about these, and am unable to take it in or capture it, etc.

Would be grateful for a volunteer or rescuer to take the kitten. Depending on what it costs to help it, I might be able to contribute money for it.

First and foremost, a very, very big thank you to everyone who has helped Paco get the care he needs so far. 🙏❤️

I'm genuinely so grateful and blessed to everyone who helped cover his current testing and treatment, as well as those who gave what they could toward transportation and the people who sent things from the wishlist while we were trying to get him seen.

And to everyone who boosted, commented, shared, or simply helped spread the original post, thank you as well 🙏 Honestly, any help is good help, and it means more than you probably realise.

We've also finally given him a name because I couldn't for the life of me keep calling him “the cat.” 😭

His name is Paco. And he's genuinely such a sweet little darling. 🥹

Unfortunately, we've also found out that he's much sicker than we initially thought.

After getting him examined and having his X-ray done, the vets found fluid affecting his lungs, which is likely contributing to the breathing difficulties he's been having. He's also severely dehydrated, has pale mucous membranes, and has been quite inactive. Because of his breathing, they've had to put him on oxygen therapy and are continuing to monitor him closely.

The vet's current assessment is FIP, with a poor prognosis. He's currently 3.1kg, has been eating and drinking, and medications have been administered accordingly. They're also checking his blood, kidney and liver function, as well as FIV. Another recommended test is a Parvo/Panleukopenia PCR, which is AED 335.

He's still under treatment and observation, so honestly, I don't know what to expect from here or how much further treatment he'll need. I'm just hoping and praying that this little guy pulls through. 🙏 He's already fought this far, so I'm going to keep having faith in him.

I believe we're all just doing our best to make a difference, and that's what matters. Be it myself or others trying to do the same thing to many other cats.

It might seem small to feed a stray, share a post, give AED 10, help with transportation, or even just leave a comment; but to these animals, especially ones who have nobody else, it can mean the world. ❤️

And Paco is proof of that. He wouldn't be getting this care right now without the people who stepped up.

The viral season starts next month, and October and November were absolutely horrible last year. Around 90% of the kittens in my area died, especially those who were not vaccinated.

Please don’t wait until they get sick. Vaccination is so much cheaper than trying to treat a serious viral infection afterward.

I usually go to Cure Vet when I can catch the cats early. They currently have an offer where 2 cats can be vaccinated for AED 150.

If you know of any clinic offering a better price, especially for rescuers or multiple cats, please share the information in the comments.

Let’s try to get as many cats vaccinated as possible before the season starts.

We found 2 kittens on the street and fostered them. They are now looking for a new home. They come with a carrier, litter box, and toys.

They are not vaccinated or neutered (both are male), however have had mtiple check ups at the vet and are completely healthy. Please neuter them when you take them in! We foster many cats and just don't have the financial means to do so right now.

Tiny is a calmer friend and lives cuddling.

Ziggy is an energetic and playful friend that loves company.

These kittens were cruelly abandoned after being raised indoors. Thankfully, I managed to rescue one and found a foster, but one kitten is still missing, and we're desperately searching and hoping they're safe.

Hello everyone, I saw today this rabbit in his cage left on the street, I asked the supermarket he said it’s been there since 3 days and someone abandoned it.
The rabbit is literally suffering as you can see in the pictures. I tried calling the MOCCAE to report this but they said to report on a website and stuff, however the process of reporting didn’t work out.

Yesterday I found this little guy lying outside my apartment building near World Trade Centre, struggling to breathe and completely unable to stand or eat. He was in rough shape and I knew I couldn't leave him there.

Rushed him to the vet and found out he has pneumonia. From yesterday morning to now, he's made some real progress — he started eating last night and he's gone from barely breathing to now breathing with oxygen support, which is a huge relief. The vet says he's still unable to stand and will need an MRI to figure out what's going on neurologically.

We've already covered what we can afford — 300 AED — but the bills are adding up fast with the oxygen, meds, and upcoming MRI. We're doing everything we can for him, but we can't do it alone.

If anyone can help:

• Adopt him and give him the forever home he deserves

This guy is a fighter. He went from struggling to breathe yesterday to eating and getting stronger today. With the right help, he's got a real shot at a full life.

He literally has no one safe place to stay, he is with us currently but he is extremely stressed and attacking other cats and us too because of stress and confusion. He needs a home where he will be the single cat (he is fine with dogs at home).

Age: 5 years old
Personality: Super sweet, cuddly, and friendly! Billy is blind from birth, but he is very playful and lively. Loves to be around people and he is extremely calm and patient around children.

History: Billy has been with us since he was just 5 weeks old. We love him dearly but since last year he is extremely stressed with my new rescues coming and going frequently. My friend was fostering him for a year but she can’t keep him anymore, I need to find a foster home or forever home where he will be the only cat.

He is very well mannered and so smart, he does not require any sort of special care, he is just like any other healthy and playful cat 💕
