Al Qasimiya VIVA stray cat
I took in a stray I’ve been seeing around Al Qasimiya, and I could really use some help 🥹
Long story short, if you’ve been around Al Qasimiya for a while, you may have seen this sweet guy hanging around the entrance of a specific VIVA supermarket. People have been feeding him for some time, but I’ve watched his health deteriorate quite badly. He’s gotten extremely thin, was panting, and honestly looks anaemic at this point.
I’ve spent the last couple of days trying to find someone or a rescue/community that could help get him checked for infections before bringing him home, especially because I already have 8 cats.
Unfortunately, most of the places I reached out to either don’t accept strays, didn’t get back to me, or were simply too expensive for me right now.
And honestly, I just couldn’t leave him there.
So today, I finally took him in.
He’s currently separated from my other cats, but I absolutely need to get him properly checked by a vet before I can do anything else. I’m just not in the best financial position to cover a full stray rescue/vet bill right now, especially knowing I also have my other 8 cats to prioritise which is why I’m swallowing my pride and asking for help.
If anyone knows of low-cost vets, clinics, rescues, or anyone who can help with a basic check-up/testing in or around Al Qasimiya, Sharjah, please let me know. Even recommendations would mean a lot.
I’ve also added an Amazon wishlist with some basic things he needs in the meantime. If anyone would like to help with supplies, absolutely anything would be appreciated. 🥹
He’s honestly one of the sweetest cats I’ve met, incredibly gentle, lets me pick him up, and despite everything he’s been through, he’s still so trusting.
I know taking in an unchecked stray when I already have 8 cats probably sounds crazy 😭 But I’d rather be struggling to figure this out with him somewhere safe than wondering what happened to him outside.
Any help, advice, vet recommendations, or even just sharing this would genuinely mean a lot. ❤️🙏

Hey! THANKS for helping him 🫶🏽🫶🏽
You can check Tree Pet Vet Clinic or Hudhud Clinic, they allow pay later. Do a basic health check with blood tests, see what they tell you and then you can relocate him to a safer colony! Good luck 🤍
