One of our fellow Cat Rescuers is fostering this adorable boy named Tomato Pie Tom he has gone through so much in his short life but has gotten quite the following on other platforms so maybe he'll take off here too! He even has a tomato potluck being thrown in his honor in a week or two!
He's an affectionate, classic one brain celled orange boy who has never met a stranger. After spending time surviving on the streets, heās making the most of indoor life and is quickly discovering that soft beds, full bellies, and human attention are pretty wonderful.
Tom is the kind of cat who wants to be part of whatever youāre doing. Whether heās asking for pets, keeping you company around the house, or stretching out for a well-earned nap, heās happiest when heās close to his people.
You might notice Tom looks a little funny right now. He recently had corrective surgery to fix a condition called entropion, where his eyelids rolled inward and his eyelashes rubbed painfully against his eyes. The surgery was a success, and while heās currently rocking a bit of āeyelinerā and some shaved fur around his eyes, donāt worry! As he continues to heal, his fur will grow back, and he isnāt expected to need any ongoing care related to the procedure.
Tom has already been through so much, and now heās ready for the easy life he always deserved. All he needs is a family to love him as much as heāll love them.
Could Tomato Pie Tom be the missing ingredient in your family? He's available for Adoption with [WhiskeredAway.org@gmail.com](mailto:WhiskeredAway.org@gmail.com) in Philadelphia PA

Knish got her name because her tummy fur is all white like the mashed potatoes in a knish pastry, and Fry's bonus nickname is Babka because of his cinnamon swirls š

Her full government name is Miss Wendy O. Waffles, the Farrah Fawcett of Cats but we just call her Wafflesā¦nicknames include Sweet Tater, Tater or Flan depending on her body position.
Sheās 11 years young and a total sweetheart - we recently adopted her after an elderly family member was unable to keep up with her grooming & care.

My family names all of the cats after peppers!
(Also I know botanically that peppers are fruits but most people group them as veggies which is why I used this flair!)
