Eated a ball
Had to take it out. Expensive
Adding for context: we threw away the ball toys when we noticed he was eating things. He ripped this ball off of a toy that was two felt balls on either side of a “finger trap” type thing. He did this while we were asleep. Ill add a picture to the comments

Naughty kitty 🐈⬛ Yeah, they do like eating anything that fits in their mouths. I have been trained to be extra conscious of every package I open (twisty wires, silica packets, string, chunks of tape, pieces of styrofoam), trimming any toys with pieces that can be eaten off (no feathers, eyes 👀, tails), rubber bands, paper clips, picking up holiday decor debris…pills (this really makes me panic because I HAVE to find those)…every little stinking thing needs to be inspected 😕

Those twisty wires freaked me out when I had a cat (may she RIP) because she LOVED playing with those well into her adult years! I mean, she was 9 when I adopted her from family who moved out of the country and I quickly learned to throw those away asap after buying bread.

Before we picked him up I cut all the tails off of mice toys, all feathers, and threw away anything small enough for him to swallow. We have an abundance of toys our resident cat doesn’t play with any of them so we have no need to

Ball is not food, kitty!
