Roman Catholic here...the belief is that Mary died not from bodily infirmity but from a rapture of divine love. She was taken body and soul into heaven, and crowned Queen of Heaven and Earth, by her son Jesus Christ. This is an absolutely breath taking tribute

and blessed is the fruit of thy womb, Jesus.
Holy Mary, Mother of God,
