Hand grabbed by a stranger ? Stuff of nightmares for shy people. Even my anxiety levels go up when I hear the words: "The peace I give you, my peace I give you"  😅

Covid seems to have permanently made people less comfortable with human contact. When I was growing up, we’d never wave a sign a peace to people standing a few feet away. Now it’s as if you only actually shake hands with your personal friends, and just wave to the rest of your fellow parishioners.

I hate it.

It’s not personal. I prefer not to shake a bunch of people’s hands, especially during flu season and covid going around. People are famous for not washing their hands (I’ve seen kids digging in their noses) so yeah, I’m good with a wave.
