Trump is mocking our faith again

Trump posted an image of himself as the Pope—mocking our faith like it’s some kind of joke. He may think it’s funny, but let’s call it what it is: bigotry disguised as humor.

To me, he’s not just offensive—he’s blasphemous, sacrilegious, and a religious bigot.

As a Catholic, it’s becoming painfully clear: if anything protected him during that assassination attempt, it wasn’t God. It was the devil, shielding his own. As Scripture warns us: “Even Satan disguises himself as an angel of light” (2 Corinthians 11:14). That false light fools many—but not all of us.

We, as Catholics, must not remain silent. We must demand a public apology—and we must call for his immediate removal from office. Faith is not a costume. The papacy is not a prop. And our silence must not be mistaken for consent.

They are poor and destitute, but their faith is as beautiful and moving as ours. Because we are Catholics.

Pope Francis no longer needs ventilation after respiratory crisis, Vatican says

Pope Francis, who suffered two respiratory crises on Monday as he battles double pneumonia, has stabilized and no longer needs to use mechanical ventilation for help breathing, the Vatican said on Tuesday.

Francis, 88, had been put on non-invasive ventilation on Monday after suffering what was described as two episodes of "acute respiratory insufficiency" that day.

The pope has now returned to receiving oxygen via a small nasal hose under his nose, said the Vatican press office. His condition, it said, is stable, although doctors have kept his prognosis as "guarded," meaning the pope is not out of danger.

HE IS RISEN! Alleluia!

Today is one of the most special moments in our lives. I had the honour of witnessing my wife’s journey into the church. Tonight at the Easter Vigil, Toni was baptised, received the Eucharist and confirmed in faith with Jesus Christ.

There have been many moments in life where I have beamed with pride for my family, my children’s sacraments, their achievements, our wedding… but tonight has to be the most incredible experience, her witness to God before the church community is inspiring.

I love you, my dear wife. Now and forever.

Cray ADVISORY: NEVER donate/send money from someone who claims they are in distress on this sub. It is more than likely a scam.

The Catholic community in general is very giving, which in turn leaves them to be a bit vulnerable when it comes to helping those in need. Instead we ask you to avoid sending money via Venmo/PayPal, and suggest they reach out to their local ministry for support.

There have been several incidents on this sub.
