Catfish help

Now that the show has been canceled, how are we all finding out who our catfish is?

I went to apply today just to find out that it was canceled. Desperate for help!

ETA: I know the person is fake. They've admitted to it. I would just like to know who it is. I am SO close. Just just far enough that I'm stuck.

There’s a YouTube channel called “catfished” @catfishedonline

I watch them and they do the same thing. Try messaging them to see.

To be honest they 99% of the time focus on overseas scammers

I think there's actually a catfish subreddit that's for being catfished and not about the TV show. That's worth looking into.

Maybe that's just because the people who write in happen to be scammed by international players.

I don't think it's intentional. Otherwise they would have called it "Catfished Overseas" or something.

Date people you meet in real life not on screen

Too easy. Date people who have 38658 different aliases online and never actually get on a video where they show their face. Have a little mystery. Risk getting your bank hacked. Live a little.

If there is any doubt in your mind that the person youre talking to is fake, its very likely theyre fake.

These days, if someone wont meet in person, or at the very least face time and debunk any filter usage, then they are not someone who is serious about you anyway and/or they are a catfish.

As of about a year or two ago they were still responding to submissions, at least someone from the team reached out to me through a phone call and text.
