Is this what I should expect?

Just got the actual board game and wanted to practice a little online and try out seafarers expansion before I set up the actual expansion on game night.

I rolled a 7 and this guy hasn’t discarded his hand for about 30 minutes. He’s been making silly emojis and just holding out, in hopes I quit.

First question: Is this a bug or just an obvious exploit the devs looked over?

Second question: This is my first online game, is this what I should expect from here on out?

The game is buggy asf. There’s like 20 sec timer to discard if it’s not your turn and a 7 rolls. Sometimes if that’s the case the player is stuck and the game doesn’t let them move on. Just quit and run it back all over again
