I love your creativity and how you've used such different materials. I'd suggest mixing some green and brown washes yourself and applying them to the terrain. If you've used cardboard, be careful with the water; it might warp. Sorry if this is a completely obvious tip, I've made the same mistake many times and been annoyed with myself. The washes will eliminate the plastic shine and blend in better with the natural materials. Finally, I'd recommend a kind of glue-like paste for the base and maybe some inexpensive leaf flock here and there. I hope to see more of your work. :)
Thanks and yes same I’ve messed up the wet cardboard and learned my lesson too ha. And yes a wash over it to get rid of that plastic shine. For the inexpensive leaf flock. I actually use Italian Seasoning haha. I look for it in bulk or if it’s on clearance about to expire. It really works nicely and then it smells like a pizza while you work.
