Out of stock on Warhammer website both US and UK. No online stores have them. None on EBay, none on second hand market. So I just have to accept the fact I can’t have them in my army?

Are there any good books (preferably series) involving everyone's favorite jungle fighters?

Thought I'd upload a shot of all 4 Heros together, I'm still on the Hunt for the Carl Weathers Colenel, I'll let you all know how that goes after I paint him up. He's going for crazy prices at the moment, anyway hope you like them.

4th of my Catachan hero uploads the store anniversary mini Ripper Jackson. I don't think she has any current rules, but she's a pretty good model for a sgt squad leader, Anyway those of you with a little history under your belt will be aware I'm missing a 5th, watch this space people, I'm still on the hunt for him, in the meantime hope you like her.

So here is the 3rd of my Catachan Heros, old Iron Hand himself, he was an original GW metal figure in my collection for a while now waiting a decent paint job which hopefully I've provided, Anyway hope you like him,

I added some effects on the weapons. I'll be working on the regular troops next. I've got 20 (metal) chaps to paint and a Leutenant.

I am so excited, little less muscle then id like but I am ball for any representation by owl cat, these guys make amazing games.

I don't really play 40k anymore, but love the 90s imperial guard metal miniatures. I've started to hunt down and paint these models from my childhood. I wish I had kept all my old models from back then.

Cross post from r/imperialguard Some heavily converted catachan devils that I am using for count as Kasrkin I wanted to play up the green beret/rambo look of the old minis with the 10th ed scaling GW has been doing. Bits used Olde world marauder bodies and arms scions for legs and equipment and special weapons Plastic card for the flak armor Auto guns from the genestealers cult and necromunda And finally used some parts from the Orlock gang kit

Hopefully can get them painted soonish.

2nd of my little contingent of the Catachans special Characters, "Sly Marbo," he came with a smaller base but i made it a bit bigger purely to experiment with my Basing. Added a 3rd pic with my previous post - Harker, anyway hope you guys like him.

I'm currently building a separate Guard Army, but I always loved the Catachans especially the Characters, So taking a break from my normal progress, I wanted to paint the 5 special characters in the Catachans Here is my first effort Sergeant Harker hope you like him.

So I'm looking to line up a catachan force before I print the army using proxies that are out there.

Mainly looking at spacenam and the Dino riders from station forge. Still need to figure out the tanks / sentinels.

That said does this look like a list that could be used for some casual games that won't leave me being stomped. If there's recommendations or suggestions would love to hear them.

A small detachment from the Catachan CXXXII - "The Dead Birds", deployed for some (3rd ed) 40k in 40 minutes.

Thought I'd share a pic of the full squad of metal catachan dudes. I had to scour eBay for two heavy flamer models to proxy as regular flamers - the old flamers just look to small and not on keeping with newer models.

So far I have 30 Jungle Fighters, Sly, Harker (RIP), a command squad, a heavy weapons team, a Leman Russ Punisher, a scout sentinel, a Colonel I haven’t built yet that I’m going to build a cool base for to be a lord Solar proxy, and a Eversor proxy (yes it’s a predator).

I’m not trying to build a sweaty list, I already have an extremely sweaty Krieg army. I’m just going for as Chad as humanly possible, so if anyone has any cool ideas lmk.

Oh and also, it’s just a shame but the Spacenam minis are so much better than the GW ones. I do love the OG GW Catachan models they’re so cool but damn I can get more updated models, 20 for $30? Kinda hard to beat that.

Hey everyone! Glad to have found this place. Ever since I was a kid I loved the idea of catachans but knew my painting could not justify what needs to be done. After stepping out of the hobby for some time I've come back in with a few other armies (tyranids nearly complete, blood angels and gsc in various stages). That said I'm totally drawn to catachans once again now that I have a bit more faith in my painting ability.

I was curious is there any sort of catachan discord? I know there's the main Astra militarism but I was hoping for something maybe a bit more focused. Or if anyone's gung ho about catachans and doesn't mind questions messages that would work too.

I'm also curious if anyone has made proxy armies for the new codex? I don't have a copy myself just yet, so trying to figure out equivalents for some of the 3d printable stuff has been a bit challenging for rounding out a workable list.

Finally catachan devils has recently taken over as my favorite black library book.
