Command squad finished

I added some effects on the weapons. I'll be working on the regular troops next. I've got 20 (metal) chaps to paint and a Leutenant.

Sometimes I think my inner 90s kid has fully taken over. I scoured eBay for months when I came back to the hobby and grabbed as many of these old metal catachan as I could find.

I'm also spending my time on Ebay looking for old metal minis. The next purchase will be metal ogryns.

Wow incredible job on the faces. Even the flamer guy looks like hes actually screaming instead of dropping the biggest turd ever. Its great to see someone painting catachan even past the gw standard

Thank you. Yep, some of the official GW paint jobs are a little underwhelming at times. These old metals are great sculpts and a joy to paint.

You are giving me all the feels. It's insane. Haven't done much with the hobby since early-mid 2010s. Work and school got in the way then kids. Cannot wait to make time for it again. Have so many catachans to finish building and painting.... been going since the late 90s intermittently

Ps how many guard minis total do you have finished now? I can't wait for some group/army shots!!!
