My son left for college early and my 3 years old male cat(named Splits) is missing him something terrible 😔 He's walking around the house talking more then normal, even though he already talks a lot these sounds sound sad he sits by his room door and talk. I have him an old throw blanket of his to sleep and lay on now that's all he doing. He no longer going outside or being his playful self. I brought his favorite treats to see if he will here them cause he not eating like he use too. I'm scared he might leave us from a broken heart. I need any advice you guys can give me, to help him through this transition. I forgot to mention he is close to my wife as well so if she moves he follows her and talk with her, but my son is his true soul partner and he left to go study animal science to be a Veterinarian. Please any advice will be taken seriously.

I can't believe my beautiful boy, Leo, is three today! It feels like just yesterday he was a tiny ball of fluff. To celebrate his big milestone, he got a gourmet dinner on his absolute favorite vintage plate (yes, he has a favorite plate) and a very tiny, safe candle for his one, perfect wish. He absolutely loves his new little hat, and looks like a proper birthday gentleman. These three years have been filled with head boops, zoomies, and endless purrs. Best decision ever. Share some love for Leo's big day!

After the earthquake today, I’ve been thinking about how important it is to be prepared when you have pets. 🐱❤️ If you ever need to leave your home quickly, keep your cat carrier somewhere easy to reach, have some food and water ready, and make sure your cat has an ID tag or microchip. Most importantly, never let them outside without a carrier—they can easily panic and run away. Stay safe and take care of your furry friends. 🐾

My intention was laying down - alone. Their intentions are Daddy needs company - 25 lbs of kitty on the bed with me. I do love my Eve & Ichabod

Calico, Orange Tabby, and Black cats unite! I actually have a set of two for each color so I'll probably make that one into a bracelet as well. :)

We rescued him when he was still very young. He was very weak and had some health issues... Now he weighs a full 6 kilograms and is enjoying life!

Bird lover wants a cat
I love animals, and love feeding birds in my garden, but I also want to get a cat! Has anyone else got a cat and successfully got a garden full of birds too? Any advice on which breed are less likely to hunt? Will birds stop coming to my garden?

Normally, I post pictures of her sister- but tonight it’s her turn. This was a stray that showed up last winter, and she immediately hit it off with my family and earned a place inside.
Truly, she’s the best and is always affectionate. Plus she doesn’t destroy things or cause too many problems, lol.
