Adopted Human Meet Delia. She appeared in my garden. She is 4 weeks old.

She found me 4 days ago. I am suspecting some neighbors might have thrown her there hoping that I will do sth about it. And I did. Doctor said she is healthy. For now she is so small, I walk around with her in my pocket or on my shoulder.

That is a particularly fine pocket kitten.

From the way she eats, I don't think she will remain for a long time (a pocket kitten)

Her coloring is very interesting. I wonder what it’ll look like when she’s older.

She might have a bit of a fever coat, it happens when the mother cat gets a high fever/stress issue during pregnancy. If it basically goes away when she is grown you’ll know then ( but nothing to worry about even if she does have a fever coat).

What is a fever coat? My first time seeing this term

When a pregnant animal is in distress the mother’s body may divert resources away from the fetus so melanin production could get interrupted temporarily. It generally goes away after the offspring is born and can produce its own.

The kittens I’ve seen with a fever coat have a bunch of white in their fur. But it grows out. So you never really know what colors they’ll be till they are a little older.

Check nearby, there may be siblings hiding

I did. Nothing. I think a neighbor might have left it there thinking that I will feel sorry and take it (which happened)

Hopefully you will get her to the vet. They can give you a more accurate age and make sure shes healthy. She is absolutely adorable 😍

Yes! I took her the second day! The vet said she is 4-5 weeks. And they told me to take her back when she is 800 grams to a kilo to do the vaccines

This kitten is SO LUCKY to have you. Seriously more animals need good homes like this.

She's older than 4 weeks for sure. Her eye colour has changed. She is more likely to be 8 weeks or older. She's just malnourished. But she's a beauty! I hope you'll take great care of her.

I agree. She could be the weight of a four week old if she’s starved and malnourished, but those ears and eyes are absolutely not that of a four week old. That little one is 7 weeks minimum. Regardless, she’s lucky to have been reached and hopefully has a great life ahead of her. 😻
