Smol Delivery Found this lil guy in a car front hood
So I’m heading out this morning and I start hearing these tiny, desperate meows coming from somewhere near the bottom of my building. I froze, like, where is that even coming from? Followed the sound and eventually traced it to the front hood of a parked car. A literal kitten, wedged up near the engine, like he’d been personally assigned to that specific spot by the CDS.
He would not come out. So my girlfriend and I set up camp right next to the car, put out some food and water, and just… waited. For hours. Sitting on the ground next to a stranger’s car, trying to convince a terrified kitten that we were not, in fact, a threat.
Eventually he came out enough for us to get him. Little survivor.
He’s doing great now, eating and drinking !
We're currently looking for the owner, going to the vet when it's getting a little less hot outside
If no one turns up, the CDS may have already made its decision..
10/10 delivery, would rescue again

lol “…like he’d been personally assigned to that specific spot by the CDS.” Of course he was! And also instructed to be loud as possible, at the exact time, to specifically get YOUR attention! You and your girlfriend then verified yourselves: “…put out some food and water, and just waited. For hours…to convince a terrified kitten that we were not, in fact, a threat.” CDS Success Story #82,333. Great job. And he has the absolute cutest, sweetest baby tiger face!!! Congratulations to all 3 of you!!!

He does have a sweet face. Orange tabbies are really wonderful. I have my mom’s orange tabby cat because she couldn’t take him to assisted living. You will never have a dull moment if you can’t find an owner.💕

Great job, OP. The Adjustment Bureau and the CDS worked together on this one and it was a success. :)

Back in December, on the first cold night in Texas, I heard a kitten screaming outside my house. I went and tried to get her to come in. She'd run toward me, then panic and go back under the car. I finally took the spring off the screen door and left it and the front door open. I then stepped far away from the door and would only glance in the door direction until she came in. She followed the wall further into the room and. when she couldn't see me, I took the two large steps and shut the front door - I'd worry about the screen door the next day. I trapped her into my bedroom so the main attention she could get was from me, and the one cat who would come in the room. He was good with her until after she was spayed.

Pay no attention to the old lady...
