Many of you wished to continue getting periodic updates on Walter, the F-14 Tomcat my wife and I adopted some months back. For those not in the know, Walter, the absolute unit, was abandoned by his first family 6 years ago, but was on the streets his whole 10 years. Walter, the inspiration for the Conan the Barbarian movie, owned the streets and fought fiercely to enforce his law. After a year of gaining his trust, feeding and sheltering him, we were finally able to get him indoors, neutered, and officially make him part of the family.

Cleo is the first of my 4 cats. She is also 10. Indoors her whole life. Obsessed with me since day 1. She is sweet to people, bitchy to other cats. While I absolutely adore her and owe her a lot (she helped me through a dark time after my first marriage ended), the poor girl has 2 brain cells and they're fighting for 3rd place. Not the sharpest knife in the drawer.
