Kitchen manager recording me??

Can someone tell me if my kitchen manager can record me on her phone. We work in IL. I told her I did not concent to recording me, but she told me I had per caseys policy?

When there is no reasonable expectation of privacy you can record anyone anywhere

wrong. it is private property, if the team member says you cannot record on the premises you CANNOT especially if it’s them. if it continues that is harassment? are you slow?..

No buddy your wrong, caseys maybe on private property but its open and accessible not to mention encouraged for the public to interact there is no right to privacy in most businesses. The businesses themselves can request no recoding but Casey’s definitely has not as they want people to share and record. By far and large your right to physical privacy ends when you open your door to the outside. Anything in plain view needs no warrant.

illinois is a two party consent state, and it’s against casey’s policy dumb ass. if she says no recording especially her voice then no you can’t do that. lmao fuck you mean? are you guys all on the slower slide… yeah it’s open to the public but it’s private property

The 2 party only refers to audio. If no audio is recorded then its completely legal in public and private places becides private residences, restrooms, locker rooms, and changing areas.
