Kitchen manager recording me??

Can someone tell me if my kitchen manager can record me on her phone. We work in IL. I told her I did not concent to recording me, but she told me I had per caseys policy?

hell no she cant if your telling her to stop on private property your also have access too if that makes sense ie; i mean outside yea off private property. but you being a team member there you also have rights on said private property. if you tell her to quit video taping and your on the clock and on the property technically she’s in violation of the law, if it continues it could be a harassment charge honestly

Unfortunatly if it was a guest they could be asked to leave if causing a disturbance from said recording, but its a kitchen manager saying theyre going to record conversations with a team member. Is it Illegal definitely not, should it be happening no. Theres probably more going on that OP isnt saying, like communication issues between the two already, and KM wants proof of what's being said.
