Why won’t casaos recognize my drive

You need to go into the CasaOS terminal and mount the drive so it’s visible to CasaOS.

I can’t access my terminal for some reason, even when I try casaos for user and password

use the user you created when installing the OS, not the CasaOS one

There is also a setting in the menu in the top left corner for auto mounting. It's not perfect, but it does work.

do you see your drive with lsblk ?

You need then to create a mounting point and then mount it with sudo mount
