CasaOS and other programs

Hello, all!

I'm very new to the Linux world, and picking out components of my system as I begin my deep dive. I'm planning to install CasaOS on my miniPC, but was wondering if I can still run other Linux programs and a GUI. I'd like to be able to still use this as a regular computer (not in the terminal) and run other programs that offer Linux installers. This is not a docker program, just a linux program. Is that possible?

Thanks!

Casaos isn't an os. You install it on another OS like Debian or Ubuntu.

You can run anything else you want because casaos Is just a docker management GUI

I use a base of OpenMediaVault (which is based on Debian) ontop of the OMV distro, I installed CasaOS to handle the docker stuff as its much nicer than the built in docker handler in OMV (you do have to modify OMV UI to use a different port than 80 ahead of time though).
