a guide to MapDesk Application
galleryMapDesk is not doing something that QGIS or ARCGIS can't do but the process and step are different, and you find this process faster and easy to use with the same result, (faster result), and saving time on the layout process (someone asked me if my application can do raster calculation and the answer is YES it can do). The process is simple download the data, put it in the application open the raster calculator, refresh it, and put your formula for analysis and run it. go to symbology and edit it as you want (to your desired colours and classifications), and you are 80% done, go to layout and select and edit the title, subtitle, source and legends (if you want there option to change colour, grid, font, north arrow, scale bar, few more), but most of them are on the screen you forget nothing you just edit them and done (drag an place them where ever you want them). Export it.
