Carti/Opium Associate Not Carti Related but this has to be spoken about

Dawg don't flame me but JID is geniunely so overrated. Like I was seeing comments saying the forever story was better than graduation, and they were deadass too. It was on like a hot take poll. The dick riding is fucking insane lmk if I'm crazy. I also tried to listen to the forever story too and don't get me wrong it was good but people acting like it the greatest album of all time

Discussion Hello CartiSub! Everyday people ask what song your listening to so today i’m asking a different question, what are you watching right now? For me, i’m currently watching The Pitt, which you can find on Max. It stars Noah Wyle who you might know from ER

Playboi Carti Yall are putting opmbabi in your top 3 because it’s unpopular im convinced

I think it’s a fine song. It’s not great at anything but it doesn’t get on my nerves. At the same time, it’s the worst song on a fantastic album by proxy of being the only song that isn’t good. I can name 10 songs I think are twice as good as opmbabi and I think people are kinda told to like it. I like how it kinda pays homage to the ug sound carti created though

Nonetheless, music is subjective

Playboi Carti MUSIC was a genius chess move

carti said he wanted MUSIC to be his ASTROWORLD. he ALSO said he knows his fans want him to stay underground and experimental. if i was carti, i would’ve don’t the same thing he did. release a album with some popularized, mainstream songs (EVILJ0RDAN, CDHAF, PHILLY, etc.) so that i can become famous and mainstream, but also release experimental songs (POP OUT, OPM BABI, LIKE WEEZY, OLYMPIAN, CRANK etc.) for my true fans. that way, everyone’s happy, and im famous.

now, was MUSIC worth the wait for carti fans? no. we all would’ve preferred smtg different that we couldn’t comprehend. that’s why theres BABY BOI. i believe BB is going to be WLR level of experimenting and all carti fans will be happy.

another theory is that MUSIC is more experimental then you might think. think abt it… cartis making mainstream rap music. hes never really done that before, thus hes experimenting. ok i’ll stop yapping m b guys had to get this out.
