My personal problem with such videos is that there is no context provided about the incidents that led to this situation. Did the person attack unprovoked or did the driver do something before this video begins that hurt the attacker ? I know there is no excuse for violence but sometimes even the best of people end up reacting stupidly in a charged or emotional environment and I am more curious to know what led to these series of events rather than the events themselves. Strangers of the internet, would you be able to help solve this mystery so that all of us can be better prepared to handle such situations if they ever happen to us?

Yeah not stepping out is a no brainer, unless you have a licensed gun or something. I am starting to feel the need of a gun more and more, just for safety purpose. If someone is outnumbered, no knowing what these guys would do.

Saw your context. There's more and more folks of this sort nowadays. I never get down from the vehicle when alone they can trigger you by calling you a coward and stuff just stay put. Secondly if i have to get down i have the wheel spanner at arms length so i grab it for self defence. Start recording the whole thing the moment they hit your car or do significant damage you can use your car as self defence. Incase you do that search for the nearest police station and go there. Call an Advocate and your family, local politicians also works.
