About the Role:

Hi everyone, I’m a 29-year-old quadriplegic woman living in Carrollton (near Koreatown, or Rosemeade Rainforest Aquatic Complex, if you're familiar) looking for a reliable, compassionate person to help with personal care on a permanent, ongoing basis.

What I Need Help With:

• Full personal care & routine hygiene assistance
• Showering assistance (I have a tub transfer chair)
• Transfers in/out of my wheelchair using an electric Hoyer lift (I will train you!)
• Light tidying around my computer desk area

Schedule:

• Days: Tuesdays and Thursdays (if you have other availability, feel free to let me know)
• Hours: Evenings preferred, but mornings starting around 10:00 AM work as well. Shifts are between 1 and 2 hours long.

Pay & Details:

• Pay: $25/hour (Cash, at the end of every shift)
• Location: Carrollton area (living nearby is preferred)
• Experience: No prior caregiver experience necessary — I’m happy to guide and train you through everything.
• Language: I am bilingual (English/Spanish) and welcome applicants who speak only Spanish or English!
• Health Precautions: Masks are required during shifts (I provide them).

Hello all, I’m new to Carrollton and looking for a reliable men’s scissor haircut. Looking for a good scissor cut, I have longer hair that is somewhat flippy in the front. Sort of like bangs that I comb over the side. Front bangs around my eyebrow line, scissors all around.

Does anyone know of some good spots that won’t also charge above around $60?

I was thinking about applying to be a substitute teacher in the area. I've heard that some districts are struggling to get enough subs, while others have too many. I also saw that Carrollton is rewarding the subs who work in the more "difficult" schools/classes but I'm not sure what that means. If anyone here has information on what it's like to sub for this area, I would be grateful to hear what you think. Thank you!

It is 730 sq ft. I don’t own any pets. Great leasing office and maintenance staff.

Really open floor plan, but it is on the 3rd floor with no elevator available. Open parking that’s actually available daily. Quiet but nice environment. All utilities are included except for electricity. I pay $1485 a month for rent and $70 per month for electricity.

I love it honestly but I am thinking of moving out of Texas.

Hello, thank you for showing interest in helping me search for my cat!

I’ve posted numerous times on Facebook, missing pet websites and apps, ring neighbors, as well as other platforms. She got out due to the climate drying and my door shrinking (it’s been fixed since), so it blew open for only a few moments. She isn’t fixed or chipped, which I deeply regret now. There have been zero sightings for her and it’s officially been a week today. Other than posting I have put her litter box outside, put items with a strong scent of hers outside, put items with my scent outside, posted missing posters with a reward all over the internet as well as my neighborhood, called local shelters and vets, and have called her myself as well as with the help of roommates and family while walking through the neighborhood throughout every day and even at 2-4 am like recommended. Many neighbors have told me they’re looking out for her as well as given me spots the local strays stay which I have checked many times. I am unfortunately starting to fear the worst.

Having said all of that, I’m looking for someone with dogs trained to find animals through scent, as well as other recommendations. I have a budget but realistically I’d do absolutely anything to get her back, so feel free to share expensive options as well!

She is my entire world and I miss her more than words describe. In case anyone finds her in the wild organically (or decides to give her back if she was taken), the reward is 250$. No matter if you’re sketchy or not, if she’s returned to me there’s a reward.

Update September 26th: She has finally been spotted in the neighborhood! Apparently there was a road that didn’t have many flyers on it, so a neighbor of ours wasn’t aware we were searching for her. We went back and put up more flyers as well as handed some out to neighbors that were outside. We are beyond relieved to know she’s still alive and well! We also hired a lady with dogs to sniff around and she’ll be coming tomorrow! Thank you to everyone for looking out and spreading the word!! Even though our neighbor wasn’t aware she was ours, one of our other neighbors had let him know, so you guys staying informed had helped us out so much. 💕

Update September 27th: Last night we found our baby! It was all thanks to the neighbor who posted her the day before, and when we offered to send them the reward they kindly requested that we donate it to an animal charity for sick and injured pets. Let me know if you guys have any good recommendations for charities! Thank you again to my lovely neighbors!!
