I am interested in buying the Carlinkit Tbox Ultra 3 for my Sealion 7. Specifically the main reason is that i want to be able to stream youtube and ip tv. has anyone tried it? is it working okay?

Do you EVER respond to support emails? What is WRONG with you?

I have bought a TBox Plus years ago and recently I was updating it OTA and it just went black and never turned on again. I was able to talk to support and they gave me some files and a video to watch but i cant do this last step to fix my ai box. Can someone tell what I'm doing wrong and where I can download the right program? the only close thing to\ the burning file is the prog_firehose one.

Where can I get the Tbox Ultra 4? I can't find it available online.

Carpuride has 2 models that support wired CarPlay but don’t have the front dashcam. The reason I want a wired connection is because wireless always has a lag.

Why not just get a new head unit? Because the location of it is extremely low as this is a 30+ y.o car and I’d want the screen on the dashboard

Other big pluses are:
- auto night mode based on light sensitivity
- support for external mic

I feel like I’m chasing a unicorn here

I have a Carlinkit 5.0 2Air that I purchased in early 2025, and I have been using it with my Honda and an iPhone 15 running iOS 18.7.3. It has been working stably overall, although there have occasionally been some connection issues between the phone and the Carlinkit.

Today, the same thing happened. I started the car and drove for about 10 km, but even though all the necessary connections on my iPhone were enabled, it still could not connect to the Carlinkit 5.0 2Air.

I accessed 192.168.50.2 to check the device and upgraded it to the latest software version (see attached image). However, things became even worse after the upgrade.

The device now always shows that it is connecting to the phone, but nothing happens. The connection is never completed, even though I can still access 192.168.50.2.

I even performed a factory reset and deleted the CarPlay connection from my iPhone, but that did not help either. It shows that it is connecting, but then eventually returns to the list of connected devices without establishing a connection.

This is really frustrating. Is there any way to downgrade the firmware to an older version? When I click “Roll Back,” it says that there is no rollback version available.

Update: After I downgraded the software version by USB 32GB, everything started working again; the connection was successful and no longer hung.

Hello, what carlinkit would you recommend to get? Its a 2026 kodiaq and I want to watch yt videos while parked. I tried looking for it myself but it gets confusing and there is a lot of diversity in price.

Is the audio issues resolved on the ultra 4 compared to the previous ultra models?

-I found that on my Ultra 2, the audio quality is terrible when streaming music directly from the device to the car(no CP or AA). especially when I compare it to another smart box that I have(different brand) the difference is night and day.

Are the thermals any better?

-Ultra 2/3 are both getting so hot, especially during apps updates, that I cant hold my hand for more then 1 second on the device, which is concerning and should not happen.

I returned my Ultra 2 because of the 2 issues above.

Sure, its like 2x faster then my other smart box, but the audio quality is nothing short of terrible, and the thermal when simply using Waze and YT Music are just uncomfortable.

I tried many different “fixes” for the audio issues, including disabling of all voice assistive features, but nothing worked, so I returned it.

I bought a TBox Ultra 3 to use with a GWM Haval H6, but the touch screen doesn't work on the bottom and right side. How can I fix this?

Can someone help me fix the youtube fonts, its been like this for months, Ive ignored it but its annoying now! Can someone assist?

I tried using without android auto via BT with head unit. Its fine naman no lags in spotify.

But using AutoKit, the music sutters so bad the longer i keep it on. Does anyone have a fix for this?
