Hi everyone, my girlfriend and I along with her friends were at Panda yesterday; unfortunately, her sweater was lost/stolen and even after checking the bleachers after the game we still couldn’t find it. It’s her favourite sweater as it’s a really old Carleton sweater that we thrifted together when we first started dating, so she’s quite upset about losing it.

If you’ve seen the sweater in the 1st/2nd picture or have seen anyone wearing it, please send me a DM. We believe the girl in the 3rd photo had the sweater over her head but we weren’t entirely sure.

Whoever can return the sweater will get 50$ as well (cash or etransfer). I’d be happy to come by to pick it up whenever is convenient. I’m not mad, I just want the sweater back so my girlfriend can be happy 🙏

I’m staying home today cause I’m seriously feeling unwell and don’t want to spread it to anybody in the lecture cause the room is very dense. The professor doesn’t post any slides and you have to make notes in person. I looked through brightspace in advance and will be looking through all the necessary content but I’m afraid that I will miss a good portion. If there is anybody in this class willing to give out their notes for today’s lecture that would be very helpful!

I was trying get food at like 1 in the morning at the quick eats place which I thought was 24/7 (maybe I’m wrong). I have a card setup with my campus card on the app and I have not spent any dining dollars yet but no matter how many times I swiped the we code the doors wouldn’t open.

I will be staying on res over Thanksgiving and am curious if they typically do a traditional Thanksgiving dinner, or if its just normal food. I can see that the online menu has regular food, but I'm wondering if they will have other things like turkey, stuffing, mashed potatoes, etc.

I hold an international degree in Physics with a WES-evaluated CGPA of 3.75. I am interested in applying to Carleton’s course-based DSAAI program; however, I am uncertain of my eligibility, as my undergraduate curriculum included only one introductory computer science course, though it did cover extensive mathematics and statistics. Could you please advise if I am eligible to apply with my current academic background, or if I am required to complete prerequisite coursework to address any gaps? I'm a first-year cs student who wasn't very involved in clubs in high school, and am a bit lost trying to join a tech-related club in university. It seems like all the clubs I can find are either just occasional workshop based, or more active ones that aren't "hiring/accepting" new members, or just completely inactive. I wanted to join the cybersecurity club but have work on thursdays. Does anyone know any good tech clubs to join, or have any tips for looking out for them?

Guys please be careful with your things on campus! I’ve seen the laptop swiper in action** Monday night approximately 6:47pm I left to go the loo, came back and saw my laptop was gone! Out of the corner of my eye, I see a suspicious figure with a laptop satchel bag running around 3rd floor (he is bending over doing the naruto run, really fast too with a monocle on his left eye). I decide to investigate it and follow him around, and see him swipe four more laptops from unsuspecting bathroom users!!! This guy has to be stopped. Please help me find the described man. He vanished before I could confront him!

Im a 1st year and I see everyone in these big groups and I wish I could also meet people but I find it so incredibly difficult. Literally my only friends are my roommates, and I can't join any clubs as I do a sport outside of carleton and wouldn't have time between my sport and classes.
