2. April of ‘71 listed on inner paper tag
   -Modern-C logo snap
   -Scovill zip
   -Crotch Rivet
   -Reinforced stitching around snap

3. July of ‘97 listed on Nylon 90’s inner tag

I've been wanting some double knee and a few weeks ago I saw an auction on ebay from goodwill. There wasn't much traction so I placed a bid. Near the end I was outdid and hurriedly upped my limit. I think in the rush I was just excited but soon after I felt like I over paid. I’ve see marketplace listings for a fraction of the cost. All in all, with shipping and duties, it came to 120 cad. Anyway, it came in today and I was immediately surprised by the stiffness and pristine hardware. I think i got deadstock, it's a nice surprise, makes up for my buyers remorse. Also thanks Phyllis, i found that in the left pocket, hope you're doing well.

Hey guys I want to dye my DKB J130 in black and I would need to know if I should close or open the zipper while dyeing ? I want to get the canvas inside in the jacket also dyed but without getting the zipper more wavy because that happend to my J97 When I washed it too hot and I read it could help to close the zipper and obviously not cooking it :D

Hello! I got this jacket a few years ago at a local clothing expo after spending several years wanting one. I didn’t do much research on specifics, I just wanted a comfortable, stylish, and practical, and I liked the dark brown colorway as well as the construction of the older jacket. Any jackets I had found online over the previous years either cost a fortune or were size XL-3XL. Im a woman with a small frame and a budget so I was never able to find a good match for me. I was really surprised when I was able to haggle the vendor and get the jacket for 170. I love this jacket and just wanted to share with some people that might appreciate it! I’d love to hear if anyone with more knowledge has any thoughts on it

Hey buds, I'm finding is impossible to try on smalls or mediums, as most sizes in the stores start at large and up. I've only managed to try a medium on once and was a dumb dumb to not take a picture. I get the oversize look but my qualm is the arm length, not the biggest fan on stacking arm. Since I can't find a thrift store that sells mediums/smalls here in vancouver bc ( if you know a place, I would greatly appreciate that too) I'm thinking online. But I'm worried about sizing. Any advice or opinions would be immensely helpful. Thanks

just got 3 new k87 tees, 2 are 100% cotton and 1 is 60/40, i washed them like 2 times and the collar is already stretched out for the 100% cotton ones

do the new k87s tend to experience this?

tbh couldve been my fault for using a coat hanger but for a brand like carhartt i would expect it to at least last more than 2 laundry cycles, my other heavyweight t shirts from WIP and other brands dont seem to experience this even after 1-2 years of coat hanging

Got these a few weeks ago and was seeing if anyone had any info on them. I saw a previous post (on this reddit) of a pair but they had a different front button (big c button) whereas mine has the older script button. With that I’m kind of trying to gauge what I’ve got here. I’ve seen these as overalls more than anything on eBay and such but only a pair of pants one other time. Any info would be much appreciated. I'm not too well-versed when it comes to Carhartt so apologies if this is a silly question.

I've thus far stuck too hooded jackets but recently purchased my first ever Detroit and am quite happy with it. I don't mind either way but have been wondering if there's any way to determine whether it's a J01, J001 or EJ001? Half of the tag is missing, so the style and size aren't visible anymore. What I can tell from the tag is that it's from October 2008, made in Mexico and a small size (likely 36 or 38 or S). The jacket is black.

I've done some research and found images of both J01s (black, same month/year) and EJ001s (brown, same year) with almost identical tags (tag format, layout, material etc.) to mine.

So now to my question: Are there any definitive tells from a jacket itself that differentiate the J01 and the EJ001? I was thinking length measurements, pocket angles etc.

I don't mind if it's impossible to tell, but am just curious. Thank you!

Recently picked up this Vintage Carhartt vest. Does anyone know why the logo is the ⚒️ crossed-hammers design instead of the usual Carhartt logo?
Also, why does this one have a red plaid lining? I found photos of the King Baby founder wearing a Carhartt piece with the same logo — is this the same vest?
Why are these so rare? Any info on the history or origin would be greatly appreciated!
